In the morning we open the branch with a security, and security checks to make sure that is safe for other staff members to go inside the branch. Prepare cash for the tellers from the main safe. We help with reports of yesterday transactions(opening of account,issuing of cards to customers) to double check as part of compliances and if procedure was followed. assist with authorising for big balances when trascations are processed. Balance treasury at the end of the day. Assist with forex if when forex consultant is not in the branch. We do cash checks on ATM, Forex, Tellers and safe custody. We also do alarm testing every month as part of administration.

Hard word,ability to work under pressure and quick learner
Working at fnb its great opportunity to me because I have learn so money things ,when I started working there I had no work experience but they believe in me and welcome me to their company.Fnb its very busy bank ,every day we meet with different customers and making sure we deliver a very good service to our customers .Working with my colleague its nice,they are a bunch of good people, we work as a team ,the challenge am facing is to make sure I make my target every month ,I give the customers a good service very day
Pros: When you make your target, you get rewarded by vouchers and your commission
Cons: We open from 8:30 to 17:00,then Saturday 8:30 to 13:00

Excellent learning curve
I loved working at FNB, I was hands on when it came to customer service even today customers still want me to go back sadly my contract was only 3 months but I made my mark and I am looking forward to sharing my experience in the future difference company and I will leave my mark there also for sure.

Meeting New People everyday
interact with clients and staff in professional manner; dairy management; schedule and manage internal and external meetings; appointment reminder; anticipate requirement in diary for task other than meetings; preparing of meetings and organising office functions; keeping track of new and existing clients through updating contact list; etc. Best relationship, we assist each with client admin, etc I Learned how dealing with client, Financial Products I enjoy coming everyday to work, I enjoy the work that iam doing and meeting new people everyday. Most challenging Aspecs of the job is dealing with fraud star, difficult clients

Slow growth, few opportunities for promotion
I started working for FNB while I was doing my Masters degree. I and I have never been promoted. I am dedicated and hard working and work long hours every day, I even work from home at night even though I don't get any recognition. I feel like them only value people who are CA(SA) qualification in the bank.

Have 20 years of banking experiences All rounder Becoming a Team leader after a year employed by FNB then in 6 months was offered to become the Team leader in the Finance team.
