Hard word,ability to work under pressure and quick learner

Working at fnb its great opportunity to me because I have learn so money things ,when I started working there I had no work experience but they believe in me and welcome me to their company.Fnb its very busy bank ,every day we meet with different customers and making sure we deliver a very good service to our customers .Working with my colleague its nice,they are a bunch of good people, we work as a team ,the challenge am facing is to make sure I make my target every month ,I give the customers a good service very day

Pros: When you make your target, you get rewarded by vouchers and your commission
Cons: We open from 8:30 to 17:00,then Saturday 8:30 to 13:00

A wonderful learning experience.

Working hours are very long and working the nightshift makes it that more grueling. There is no time for family or friends. Have no social life. Work colleagues are fun to be with. The working environment is very structured and quite stressful. The learning opportunities are vast and easily accessible. Room for growth is a bit limited yet achievable. Overall a very exciting and educating experience. One that will not be forgotten.

Pros: Gaining experience in the financial sector.
Cons: Long working hours(Nightshift)

Excellent learner

Driven by qaulity more than qauntity of the work i am given, i like working hard and enjoy assisting where i can people who struggles there and there...a very good team player.

Learning

I'm an energetic, a great communicator, driven and extremely passionate about particular job I do and I'm inspired to make a positive difference in the industry. I am dedicated in building long term relationships, more than just as another employer dealing with a career. I'm very organised, I don't get stressed to easily and I can deal with most situations, maintain high standard of work under pressurized conditions. Ability to use description and dealing with sensitive information in confidential and professional manner Easily adaptable to change, flexible to handle tasks other than normal work. Self-starter makes own improvements in own working area, self development and I use initiative Able to communicate effectively at all levels; Peoples person Comfortable with working independently or in a team, supervising and or leading Team player, delegating responsibility and contribute to successes

A appreciation for customer satisfaction

:co workers know to come to me should they struggle on call "that not all customers are calling to complain :when i take the irate ones and make them laugh and leave satisfied :fixing other departments messes is most challenging

Pros: great way to learn how to be patient and to listen
Cons: when customers refuse to say they are happy.

I enjoy working as a team, working in a bank I have learned to be financial responsible, able to manage my debt and I enjoy working with customers,

I have learned and gained a lot

Customer service is the order of the day,making sure that good service is given daily and customers are retained.that in then gave us more customers because of word of mouth from the customers web already have.going an extra mile where necessary and doing things by the book.sacrifice lunch hours if and when we are busy that's another way of keeping customers happy and knowing for sure that they will come back for the quality service we provide

Pros: Promotions are possible if you apply and there is a vacant post
Cons: Month end is always the busy and we work harder,and compromise our lunch hours

Slow growth, few opportunities for promotion

I started working for FNB while I was in the process of completing my Masters degree. I started in an entry level position as I did not have relevant work experience. After 4 years of experience, I am still a junior with no prospect of getting a promotion

Pros: Great work environment, and friendly atmosphere
Cons: Few opportunities for promotion because they only value CA(SA) qualification

Good

I have learnt a lot in this company and u grow everyday but I just need a permanent job...we working in a big environment and am enjoying it.bt they not making us permanent.the hours tha we working are not bad at all and at times there's a lot of work to do but what I like is we get to learn everday

Great corporate experience

deliver accurate service to client by making sure their claims are paid out correctly in an hour. have to do at least 50 payment orders a day when there is no room for mistakes. I have to be better than a robot because I am the firewall of the company. amazing I met people that changed my life introduced me to the real corporate world directly and indirectly. I became friends with most and stayed colleagues with others. I love my team it is the most diligent and hard working out of the whole operations of FNB life. never bring your personal feelings or life at work, keep work professional. learn how to work hard and also play harder. learning how to deal and survive in a corporate environment. There was no room for mistakes even if the work load piled up daily and they expected turn around time and quality and quantity to be your main worry. It was very stressful trying to pay correctly faster at the same time because to me quantity is not quality.
