Slow growth, few opportunities for promotion

I started working for FNB while I was in the process of completing my Masters degree. I started in an entry level position as I did not have relevant work experience. After 4 years of experience, I am still a junior with no prospect of getting a promotion

Pros: Great work environment, and friendly atmosphere
Cons: Few opportunities for promotion because they only value CA(SA) qualification

Excellence learning curve

I like working here at FNB but its been a while working for fnb ithink its high time I get something permanent .I like working here because you learn everday and we not working weekend even our hours are fine but temping its nt an option now hence am applying for another job

Play to my strengths

I perceive myself to be a person who is self-confident and reliable. I set goals and try to the best of my ability to achieve them. I always strive for success. I work well in a team to accomplish any task. I’ m a team player, patient, perseverant, loyal and hardworking and will be an asset to any company. I’m willing to walk the extra mile to meet deadlines and achieve goals. I have very strong organisational skills and the ability to learn new procedures in a very short space of time. I have been arranging events over the last 12 years and arranged/ coordinated/ managed approximately 125 functions to date.

Excellent learning curve

I got to start from ground up and it was not easy but I'm glad I was noticed and given another position within the company.I learned a lot about the banking sector even had the opportunity to brush up on the skills I already had and at the same I developed new skills.

Excellent team player

We in Fnb work like a family well ,perform very good under pressure. In Fnb you never stop learning , but I make it my mission to keep up witb the day to day changes that happen in tbe company. As an employee I personally love the interaction with the clients . Really makes me happy to see a happy client. The most difficult aspect I would say is working with people that have a language barrier and that makes it difficult for me to assist,

Learning experience

9 to 5 working hours, working with a great team, I have learned to engage with clients on a broader perspective, analyse their needs, challenges however can be communication barrier when helping clients that cannot speak English or any other African language.
