I am at Edcon in Human Resource Department. My duties are but not limited to: • Creation of adverts on Soft scape • Advertising internally and externally • Shortlisting of candidates and inviting them to interview • Compiling interview guides • Arranging and conducting interview • Make offers to accepted candidates • Compiling new starter packs documents for new employees • Preparing of Appointment Authorisation Forms, Letter of Appointments and Flexible Remuneration • Calculation of benefit Salaries and Total Packages • Uploading employees on my Focus System to grant them employee numbers • Conducting Reference check through MIE and Telephone • Preparing tracker for missing documents on new starters • Capturing of SDL accounts( under banking) • Updating spread sheet tracker for terminations, maternity leaves etc. • Capturing of new employee on my focus for Document Collection Campaign • Confirmation of employment • Contract for Location allowances

Good

The most challenging its when you have to divide yourself into many pieces in order to fill in the uncover department e.g to receive the stock and serving customers at the point of sale

Pros: no promotion only to apply for desire position

I have learned many skills because I'm the person like to learn new ideas

I'm a team worker because I believe we can achieve more and like communication in our company. I like challenging job so working with the customers can be but most of I knew how to handle them and never let them leave without being setified.

Pros: stock sorter, replanition the stock, casher and stock receiver
Cons: eight hours

Good learning curve

Working must always be what you determine, your wish. You must have some target to reach in order to know and recognize your perfection.everything it's hard only if you want it to be, unless proven results of that you tried.best only come to the best!

Good place to work

i learn a lot under ed con company .i started working there as a casual then i got promoted to become permanent part timer. in the year 2016 they give me an opportunity to go and study fire fighter and i manage to get a certificate.

Pros: there is growth in the company
Cons: normal working hours

Its a good company, i realy love working hear but i need more expereance from other companys

I love working at this company and I have a good relationship with my co-workers I have learn many things from this company from store level and hard office level work , I enjoy the challenges that I get every day at work, learning new things every week

I loved my job and I learn much things such as working as a team .I have learn how to treat customer with respect .actualy how to treat a human being . Likely I learn a lot abaut how to manage stuff and work with focus.I enjoyed working on a customer service department becouse I lean how to handle quiry .assist customers with claim. I enjoyed to talk with people and seen many faces .the worst chalenge that I experience is when I was helping customer abaut claims .becouse many when they came there were In tears and I have to make them feel comforted and ecourage them that is not the end of the world thy will overcome this chalange . I loved helping customers
