Great place to learn about other cultures

Im currently customer service advisor for an online company based in UK. The company is called Webhelp SA on the project called Shopdirect. -On a normal day I deal with customers regarding their online orders, as to advise how far are we with their orders place orders telephonicaly ,take payment from customer advise as how far are their orders and when will they will be delivered to customers. Always strive to offer a first call resolution. I am team player as me and my team mates we are like a family we striving for the same goal, we also there for each other. I have learnt lot about UK culture how people live there and how they like to be treated even though I have never been to UK. Resolving customers queries when the customers thanks you for resolving their query, for that's a satisfying feeling. When get an irate customer who does not want to give an opportunity to resolve their problem their just want a manager

Not good for growth but is a great company to start at.

I would love to apply for this job because not only is this closer to me but also it seems much more interesting and i am always keen to learn something new. Working at the company has been good and they experience to help our client is wonderful but it seems that the company is not good at treating their staff fairly. R I have learnt so many things about delivering excellent customer service, work colleagues are amazing as they motivate u to do better, the most challenging aspect is doing so many things and going for training for new tools but not receiving a pay increase.

Pros: There is no opportunity as the business is losing lots of employees

Great learning environment

the company has a great environment of working. the only problem is that they don't focus on empowerment n taking people internally for posts but all in all it is a great space to go to everyday

Solve customer queries on a daily basis.

Providing excellent customer services, solving each and every query , relating network issues. Investigating customers accounts, where as data or credit dissapearing. Create an account for the customer. Transfer calls to the correct departments, making sure the other advisor understands the query(before transferring). Work relationship with my co-workers , they are friendly , bubbly and constant positivity within the work environment. What I've learnt was working with a team , the work load got done a lot quicker. I enjoyed talking to the clients and learnt about their different cultures all around europe. The most challenging aspects were to assist two customers at the same time and solving their queries.

Excellent learning curve

Im currently employed at Webhelp working as an Advisor, we deqal with online shopping, we place orderes for customer, take payment, arrange return and deal with complaints They treat employees like grown-ups. They share information with employees, listen to their ideas They treat people fairly our relationship with co workers is very strong, we work well together, we care and love one another I've leant to share, care for everyone, leant to work will people, help and understand customers

Pros: There's always an opportunity to make friends, both professional and personal.
Cons: You can end up working very crazy hours such as closing on a Friday night and opening the next morning.

Exceptional work experience

my duties is to assist our customers where need be.Helping them with placing orders, taking payments, tracking down parcels etc. We have a good relationship with my colleagues we strive for excellence.

Growth potential

The company has a great sense of culture and growth. Work ethic is great to a certain extent. There are issues and development areas that can be assessed and improved to create one of the best BPO cultures.

Excellent learning curve

Working for a UK company has taught me the importance of proper way speaking to clients. It has shaped me to be self managed and thrive in my targets. As a specialist advisor, my role was to make sure customer returns there item via the suppliers. I would email and do background work which the front advisors would sent to us if query is more complex. The energy is high and interacting with colleagues makes your job more enjoyable. What makes me happy is, to know after a complexed query, customer is happy with the service that's been rendered. I have received star awards for top advisor of the month(July) and most helpful advisor(Aug). I believe if you have passion and love for what you do, it won't feel like work. All jobs has its challenges, difficult clients and following procedures to resolve the query, constant environmental changes, targets to be reached, etc. Change is inevitable, one should be easily adaptable. I enjoy what I set my mind to, I believe I am willing for the next step.
