Excellent Company to work for I had a good relationship with staff especially nursing staff AND Netcare 911 staff had a good relationship with them learned a lot from them they have learned a lot from me. I am an expect in HR Admin I really enjoyed my work as I worked without a Manager for 03 Months reporting to the Hospital Manager I have learned a lot. Have learned recruitment, Payroll, Engagement, HR ADMIN, problem solving. Enjoyed doing payroll as we have deadlines and they will push you do your work on time. The most challenging aspects of the job was the Medical Aid as the were issues where I felt like I can solve them but because it was being handled by the mmm Administrators which I didn't have control over them.

I have been working for 9years, I get along very well with everyone, I start of by doing company banking after, go through mails, attend to most important matters, procure and follow up, do recons...I enjoy an environment were I interact and work towards deadlines . the most challenging aspects are working towards deadlines and trying to figure out why recons don't balance, I have learnt cooperation, patience and a bit of initiation can assist in achieving my set goals.
Pros: working independently and setting my own weekly targets, very relaxed enviroment
Cons: No promotion/growth aspects, remuneration not sufficient.

Growth
The environment is fairly OK. the work is distributed fairly. its a Hospital environment so the focus is more on giving excellent service, so Finance is a support structure.
Pros: Room for growth

Always a challenging experience at work
I work 12hrs and each day is different as I work with patients and we get different types of patients. Some are difficult and some are friendly so the experience at work always differs from day to day. I have a good working relationship with my colleagues. Yes there are times we do not see eye to eye but that never gets in the way of our working relationship. I have learned to be patient and have learned to deal with different types of people. It is always thrilling coming to work not knowing what to expect and that always challenges me to try and do better than I did on my previous shift. What is challenging is that I work alone on my shift. I do almost everything from attending to walk in clients, to answering the phone, opening hospital files for our patients, handling the switchboard, taking payments and having to help the staff when they need copies and information to be faxed and at times all these things happen all at once.

Comfortable
It's a great place to work for if u not looking to study any further or if he happy with the salary. It's got a great team of Dr's very small clinic.nursing stuff can be overloaded with work due to short of staff members or goin home late after knock of time.generaly the patients are happy n so are the Dr's because nurses need to push extra hard though credit is never given

Very disciplined

Passion drives you
A neonatal intensive care unit nurse my goal is provide high quality nursing care, I think, plan implement and evaluate every precious moment of the little miracles babies that come into my care. Work is in tense , attention to detail, precise calculations, always moments of learning and opportunities to teach, with tears come extreme feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction when my little miracles go home. Having team that is supportive and knowledge is God sent.

Excellent for management development
The company offers numerous opportunities for growth and being one of the busiest hospitals in the group across SA, its high occupancies provides for continuous stimulation and challenges. I work with a diverse yet cohesive team where each team member plays an integral part in the effective running of the business. I enjoy interacting with other healthcare practitioners within the team as well as patients and their familes. The most challenging aspect of my job is attending to simultaneous deadlines whilst having to attend to urgent doctor, patient or staff related issues. Having to work with a team who shares your goals and visions ensures for a happy working environment.
Pros: Excellent opportunity for management development
Cons: Too many reports and too little time to spend on the floor with team and in the wards with nurses and patients

Overwhelming,
Good learning experience but not healthy, no work life balance, a lot of pressure.Too little time for anything, impossible deadlines and targets. Big challenges, less motivation for employees.

Worked my way up
I started as a datacapturer, then got promoted to consignment controller and finally got promoted to stock controller. I have 2 people working with me. We all work hard and things change daily. Having to work with doctors and nursing staff. The most difficult part is out of stocks. Having to source alternative when they are used to using what they are comfortable with.
