Netcare is good company,i have learnt so much in short time. I have gained more experience in customer services through netcare.people are so friendly and welcoming,its an environment of more than 400 employees but i like it and enjoy it as i learn a lot from people from different walks of life. I enjoy my work a lot and we often provided with training.

Excellent leaning curve
Mondays are mostly hectic with a lot of theatre patient, even admin has to help with admission in the wards. there's a lot of teamwork with the coworkers. I have learned to cope under pressure and be patient with people who are not feeling well. I enjoy experiencing to live with so many different types in people with different customs an d personalities. having to understand and work well with different people who have different customs and believes is challenging.

Need to be think on your feed and be independent
We got 1095 empoyees and each HR person have to handel there one units . And HR person are responsible for the full function of all those units from appointment, termination, IR and all query. We handel query's direccly from staff an unit managers. Netcare have very strict timeframe. Payroll been handeld on site and been submitted to headoffice for processing. I have very good relationship with the managers as well as the employees. The most challenging aspect and frustrations to wait for headoffice to load the inputs that been send though and follow up all the staff documents that not done. Everthing that you send for approval take very long cannot continue with action.

Good learning experience
Good working relationship with my peers Excellent people management skills developed Have gained some operational exposure Very technical job Extremely tight deadlines Very few days are alike, lots of time spent on special projects

Stock control
It's was my first time to work with the people in hospital especially in the side of medical care and for the first time was not easy but i try by all means to learn how to receive the stock and how to handle orders to the staff for patients and prepared for Ward's delivery, as time goes i and up be known how packing everything.

Good learning oppotunities
Since i started working at pretoria east hospital i had chance to develop myself by going to study. I started by bridging course after my employment at netcare though them. I enjoy working with patient in a daily basis.i am a team player, i work overtimes in different unit around the hospital. I enjoy working in emergency department a lot because i see different cases and it makes me to think and act fast when ever i receive sick patient. I want to work at other facility becase evet since 2013 when i sarted my nursing i have been working at this compony. Now i want to explore and see what other facilities have for me so that i can develop myself more.
Pros: Started at this compony as a student now i am a rrgistered nursr
Cons: I spend most of the time at work doing overtimes so that i can be able to survive. Salary not enough for my expenses

Great opportunities for growth
The company allows one to be engaged. Each and every day there are new challenges and allows one to move out of their comfort zone. As an intern I was allowed the opportunity to rotate from the employment relations department where I was assisting with cases and administration to the human resources generalist department where I was assisting with the HR administration.
