Experienced customer service and Ramp Handling

working in Bidair Services it made me to understand the importance of making sure your passengers or Customers are always receiving an excellent experience of Customer Service at all times. the kill and Knowledge i have gained is to know how to deal with Dangerous Good Baggages, is to know how to deal with any air side challenges i overcome in aviation industry.

It really was is a great stepping stone for me and excellent learning curve

I started knowing nothing about aviation, they took me to training & I fell in love with my job, now I need growth and I have seen there is no growth within my company

Pros: Great step for learning how to work with different customers for all over the world & diverse cultures

Too Much Awkward Shifts, And Managers With No Way To Speak To People

The Place Is A Safe Environment, But Life Threatening At The Same Time Because An Aeroplane's Engine Can Suck A Person Up Anytime If They Stand Too Close, Fuel Trucks That Can Catch A Blaze At Any Given Time And Bad Drivers. This Place Does Not Provide Transport Whereas We Are Required To Start At 04:30am The People I Work With Are Great And Couldn't Ask For Better Colleges.

Pros: Depending In Your Experience, You May Get Promoted Easily
Cons: Very Awkward Shifts At Very Unsafe Times For Public Transport Because They Dont Provide Transport.

Learning curve and allows to broaden my CV

Ive learnt how to manage staff, deal with all sorts of passengers at the same time while tending to different types of staff memebers that im in charge of on a daily basis. Typical work day includes ensuring that staff a complying to their everyday work standards/routine, ensuring all delayed flights are attended too. Some of the challenges i face would be the people i work with, they can be difficult and simply rude but I've learnt to be patient and calm but still doing what is expected lf me by my duty managers, which is dicipline if and when that is needed. I enjoy interacting with thr staff as well as passengers, doing flight audits as well.

Pros: Great room for growth
Cons: Delayed flights

Salary

How much should a checkin agent and tickets sales agent should earn per month. Working from 04:00 to 12:30 am and from 12:00 to 21:00 and when delayed we leave at 23:00

Explore and growth

I've been in a customer service agent for 3 years now I'm flexible in any area when tasks are given to me I'm a risk taker and focused young lady who knows what she wants I have been around in various departments I'm familiar with every work have gained a lot of experience on that.

Pros: Great change and challenge would be great
Cons: Work short hours salary based on hourly rate ,don't have fixed income

Excellent learning place

It was a good working place, the working shifts were typical because there is no night shift allowance, but i learned on how to work with different kinds of customers rude, sad or happy, and i learned different religions rules, the most challenging aspects is i was working with all kind of people some i didn't even understand their language i just knew only the basics

Meeting ends meet

A minimum living salary should be around R5000 to R6000...one should be able to pay rent and also have money for transportation...as an employee i cannot afford to be late for work while the employer is paying me well punctuality should be a must

Good communication skills

You meet different people from different countries and give them a walm welcome with a good customer Service, helping those who need help. Getting a good opportunity to meet leaders from abroad and locally. Meeting celebrities and all the well known people. Teaches you working with other people ,team work. Welcoming of new guests and giving love to people. Learning different languages Assisting old special needs people like people with disabilities, blind,deaf,infant, kids traveling alone and elderly people.

Pros: Great opportunity for meeting leaders and get promoted
Cons: Expecting flight delays due to weather conditions

Excellent communications and people skills. Easily adapt to change. I have learnt a lot from the previous company - Microsoft word, Excel and PDF. I enjoy good food , company and music. I would like to move greener pastures and expertise the knowledge I have gained over the years.
