Working at truworths is enjoyable but the management doesn't treat other people correct but I can say I enjoy working there because I felt it was like my second home. And what I enjoyed most there when I open account for customers and also when customer acknowledged my best customer service towards them and I'm proud of myself

Growth
Principles in merchandising, sales and, customer service inter_acting with customers recruiting new accounts. All this has been a new challenge of which I have been fighting to achieve daily at work. It taught me to be self-driven and target driven .

Excellent learner I always pay attention and make sure I get the job done
I have build a strong relationship with the people I work with I learn from them so do they learn from me being at work I always learn new thing seeing the people that I care for and can count on makes my day
Pros: picked up a lot of experience
Cons: we worked 6hrs a day but when they asked you to work a double unexpectedly just got to me to menu times

Pleasant work environment
Working at truworths has been a pleasure. The atmosphere is amazing and so are my colleagues. Everyone is friendly and always open to learning and sharing (one of our values). Our management team is very professional and always encourage us to do our best in the tasks at hand.

I REAL DO LIKE TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM IT KEEPS AWAKE AND VIGILANT ALL THE TIME. I ENJOY TO WORK WITH PEOPLE FULL OF MOTIVATION EVERY DAY OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS IN RETAIL WHAT I HAVE LEARNED IS THAT A CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND THERE IS NO NEED FOR ME TO ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER TO RESOLVE A PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH I KNOW SOME CUSTOMERS ARE VERY FUSSY

Excellent work at Truworths
My job description was cash consultant, doing customer service with our customer, merchandising the garments at the floor and also doing office work, they were also trainings that we attend every friday after completing they give us certificate.

A desire to always perform at a high standard
Working in such a large corporate environment has allowed me to interact with a wide variety of people. Every day brings new challenges and experiences. It is a stable company that has been established for a long time. The company has talented and hard working people available to them which has taught me a strong work ethic and instilled a desire to always perform at a high standard as those are the set requirements

Eye opening experience in the world of retail
Bieng a beauty consultant at Truworths element included duties such a bieng accountant-able for all stock in the department. It also consisted of generating a certain smooth of sales to meet the daily target. Bieng a beauty consultant also incorporates dealing with customers 70% of the time and advising them on products which are suitable for their skin needs.
Pros: Gaining work experience and acquiring an insight in the beauty industry.

Not the best starting point
As this was first job and experience in working,I would say I had a lot of challenges and Ive grown and learnt more from this job although there a lot of favouritism,I wouldn't. say it was the best job I had I was not free to share ideas to help grow the company and motivate staff, the mananger I had didnt appreciate having me there or working there as she would try by all means to exclude in most things . But mostly I liked the staff I worked with and greatful for the opportunity and experience I got
