Excellent training and exposure for a new graduate student to learn
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Truworths. One could never predict a typical work day as with retail things can change very quickly. I worked with an incredible team. I really enjoyed trading my product and working with a dynamic team.
Pros: Great to learn

Excellent learning curve
I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Debt Collector position that your company advertised yesterday on the website I have the ability to listen, persuade, and negotiate, whilst at the same time building trust with the customer. I can also be relied upon to make a sincere commitment to meet the debtor’s needs at the highest level, every time. My accumulated experiences enable me to negotiate payment and settlement terms with those who have fallen behind on their financing payments. However, my real expertise lies in my ability to analyse credit reports, loan histories and financial records to come up with suggestions for establishing payment plans.

Teamwork is the best
Since whale team work has bean endorsed in most companies, I bilve I am a team player I walk the the talk in terms of leading by example complying to rules and procedure. Also upholding values of the employer team work is the best.

Opportunities are gained and lots of promotions.
I've learned that being a manager, team leader and a brand ambassador gave me great opportunity to work with different individuals with great minds and strong personalities. I also enjoyed working with my co-workers because you learn something new everyday and they game me exciting opportunities.
Pros: They give you great opportunities and they promote any individual who wants to learn .
Cons: The working hours are not so challenging.

Great place to learn about the industry of retail
am a great person to work with get along very good with fellow co-worker. Great team player always makes sure that I live according to the company's value and make sure that we work towards the same goal. and most of all iv learned to work under pressure and making use of every opportunity to grow myself within the company. working for retail can be very challenging at times because one gets less time to spend with family and friends.

Cons: working on public holidays and weekends or working 13 days without a day off

Been with the company for 3years leaner great customer service and even obtained Nqf level 2 retail and wholesale learnership, Been acting Manager for a year in absence of Store Manager great communication with staff

Got good experience
Truworths has teach me a lot because I started there not knowing what to do and they give me a change to express my self in a different way and the company teach us about customers service and how to look after our clients and respect them and they must respect us too.working in truworths it was great me and my co-works the relationship was fabulous and it was like working with my brothers & sisters.The management was great as well and very supportive at all times. Everyday went I enter I clock in and count my float after I clean where I work then I wait for consumers if the is no one at the moment I go and help in other departments.I was working at the cash desk.what I have enjoy is when is ace time cause we where wining lots of prices even money was included.The most challenging moments it's when you find a difficult consumer who doesn't what to hear the procedure of the company and he / she wants something and they can't get that due to the procedures.

Learning curve
Good for students who are looking for enhancing their people skills and those intrested in going into management. But very good to get knowledge in serving customers and personal development. Dealing with customer related transactions like processin the purchase of merchandise on cash and customer account. Process account payments while improving dealing with large amounts of money. Open credit accounts and reach daily, weekly and monthly targets in respect to purchases.
Pros: Great opportunity for someone with a passion for working with people and has fashion sense.

Excellent way to enter the working world
I started retail in 2012. Since then i have been promoted twice and what i can say is that every person should try retail once in their lives as it is a great way to build up your character and it also gives you an idea of what to expect in the corporate world. What i love about it is the constant trainings and growth and what i don't love is the working on weekends and the standing for long hours, however you meet amazing people there and really build long lasting friendships.

Cons: Poor salary, long hours
