They are good with people and help the average find themself. Service is excellent just the working hours are long but if there is alot of staff working hours become less

I was groomed by the company

I had the previllage of joining the company as a casual & worked my way up to became permanent,passing that to become a store SUPERVISER then to become a store manager.I believe in grooming & also equiping your team with training to gain knowledge to deliver excellent level of service.Motivation also play a very high role in building an oil running team.I am a hardworker & i lead by example.

I'm capable of learning anything new.

I learned that working as team is a key I most definitely like working with people around Deadline pressure Administration work Coming up with new ideas in the work place.

Not the best starting point

As this was first job and experience in working,I would say I had a lot of challenges and Ive grown and learnt more from this job although there a lot of favouritism,I wouldn't. say it was the best job I had I was not free to share ideas to help grow the company and motivate staff, the mananger I had didnt appreciate having me there or working there as she would try by all means to exclude in most things . But mostly I liked the staff I worked with and greatful for the opportunity and experience I got

Manager

Former store caretaker and currently I am assistant store manager, I am a team worker and respect my colleagues and consider their advise, I learned that to achieve a goal, one has as a teamwork. I truly love more especially the sales consultant and customer services. The challenge I experience as a caretaker is the stock loss, store turnover and custometer which place a burden and also not business

Excellent learning curve

At truworths I worked as a cross trained, and I enjoyed every minute of it because I got a chance to deal with customers everyday and I learnt a lot on how to treat a customer and I also learnt basics about admin and service desk

Aced my interpersonal skills

A good day at work begins much very well when i interact with people who possess positive vibes at all times.My relationship with my co worker i rate it highly i am one who likes to create a calm and welcoming environment no matter how other people may be difficult to deal with . I have learnt that customers gets hard when they sense ignorance from people who suppose to be going an extra mile into making their needs met according to their expectations otherwise i feel happy to wake up in the morning to make customers day bright by providing a good service. What i enjoy the most is me dealing with the walk ins of the company and learning about fashion buying. The most challenging aspects of the job is understanding the cultural differences of my co worker and sometimes the supervisors who don't possess excellent leadership skills.

Great place to learn about the industry of retail

am a great person to work with get along very good with fellow co-worker. Great team player always makes sure that I live according to the company's value and make sure that we work towards the same goal. and most of all iv learned to work under pressure and making use of every opportunity to grow myself within the company. working for retail can be very challenging at times because one gets less time to spend with family and friends.
