I have recently started at the Department of Education i have went for training and already started working, Everyday is a challenge for me because i tend to look forward to angry parents who did not register their children on the system and wants space immediately not that i am afraid of challenges but the everyday complaints that i get my working environment is flexible and fun as i maintain a good relationship with colleagues,reason for leaving is that is far and the stipulate is not enough.

Excellent learning experience

In this department where i am employed at we are doing a lot of work, the pressure is high. My relationship with my colegues is very good and strong. i enjoy mostly to go out and do the investigation.

I am a hard worker

I am a student teacher measuring with mathematics and isiZulu home language.I enjoy Teaching,i am a hard worker ,fun person to work with ,i respect people despite their age,religion and race.I work well with collegues because I have learnt that people have different personalities they can't behave the same.A typical work day I give all my energy to help my learners understand what is being taut.I enjoy reaping the fruits of my Labour when the learners pass at the end of every semester

Excellent learning curve

At this department we work from Monday to Friday normal working days but we even attend during Saturdays and holidays with the purpose of finishing the syllabus as well as to instill a culture of learning to our learners. I work harmoniously with my collegues and we are kind of persons who love to advise each other abuot any proceedings in like. I have learnt a lot here because i was a kind of person who was shy unable to speak to a large group of people but i am better person on that. I mostly love to explain to learners about agricultural problems so to have in our people who know that agriculture is the backbone of the country's economy and we live good healthy lives because of agriculture and the is to be life long researcher the are times as a teacher where i usually find that i need to come up with new interesting problems to my learners.

Pros: I am a person who is dedicate himself to whatever i am doing and always prepared to work under pressure in trying to meet the authoity demands. i hate late submissions in my life.
Cons: At my school we work from half past six to five because we are the personnels who love to see learners succeeding in their studies and put our school on the map of performing schools

Learning opportunities

I am employed as personal assistant to the deputy director HRA. My duties include diary management, travelling arrangements, processing of claims, monitoring the budget, processing of claims, report writing etc. I have a very good working relationship with my co-workers. I have been sent on training for report writing and persal. I have a good relationship with the educators.

Good learning curve

Working at department of education was a great opportunity for me, because I learned so many such how to behave at work, how to respect your work and as a team. I really enjoyed working there because my relationship with colleagues was good and that makes work easier.

Motivation

I am Bongani Zulu I reside at Nondweni township I was an temporary educator teaching Mathematics and Physical Science in rural areas I am hardworking person dedicated to do abilities even under pressure. I came from the family of eight children being supported by my mother from the pension grant of illness I can not persue my dream of going to tertiary institution to futher my education level and my interest of loving Mathematics and Physical Science.

Hard working educator

As an educator, its a good feeling to be working and inter-acting with other educators and in particular with the learners. The most important thing is that we get to know the backgrounds of the teachers and learners. By doing so, we create a good and conducive working environment, good relationships, and good interventions. As a maths and science teacher I've learned how to work with other educators through workshops and educational seminars. The most challenging aspects are the the ill-disciplinity of learners like coming to school drunk and high and the ever changing of syllabus without proper training. Otherwise teaching is full of fun

Pros: many holidays
Cons: no opportunities to get promoted. For example, I've been in post level one for twenty years
