I've learnt alot in working with customers

I work for WNS outsourced fromTelkom to help customers with internet issues,I have built a good relationship with my team and my team leader,it's challenging though because you come across with angry customers and they are so irate but you'll have to keep it together

Pros: I gained much experience
Cons: Work shift and the off days will be one or two days

My overall review of a typicall working day

a typical work day is servicing customers with good customer service and always seeing to there needs and making sure what they are calling for is dealt with. i have a very good understanding with mu co-workers and love working ain my team and others i have learnt alot from the time i have started here, meaning how to deal with different problems on a daily bases and most of all working with different sort of customers from other countries because i do work for a uk based company. i enjoy working with my co-workers because a happy environment gives a happy outcome. dealing with customers querys on a daily bases because you face different issues everyday

Cons: long working hours, and working late on weekends

Learning curve

Call centre with angry customers. too many repeat fault. Lack of communication from management. Agents sign for things they are not given time to read. Team leaders do not know the products. The HR manager gives false hope. Trainers do not know the entire thing they talking about. Technical agents have to do sales and billing enquirers but Sales and Billing agents will never do any Technical work.

Excellent work ethics

Working for WNS has been a huge help in my life. People at WNS are great, however, being an agent can be tiring. As an agent there are no perks at all. They care more for their team leaders than for the agents.

My Call Centre Job

I am a 29 year old woman with kids, I enjoy being around and working with people. At the call centre i speak with different people every day and and get to know different kind of people and the way they act, i have now learn to mange and calm down a angry person. In this job we work in teams that are mananged by a team leader, this is the person who looks after a team and make sure that we do our job and we work as the family. I enjoy working with them we are like a family that is forever laughing and we treat each other with respect. Talking is one of the thinks i like to do so this job keep me doing what i enjoy the most

Pros: Call centre have lot of work to do and one can talk from the morning till you leave but its also shows you the different people around you
Cons: 8hr

Proactiveness, love challenges always learn something new

It's always a busy day with agents assisting in escalations, sales or problem solving. We always have to be meeting services levels and targets. There's constant learning curves daily which is good as others always room for advancing ones knowledge.There's tracking of hourly and daily performance and stats...and managing a team of 12 together in relieving fellow managers when out of lunch or out the office. There's constant feedback provided to our seniors on concerns and problematic areas. It's a constant challenge daily as sometimes there's not enough time to finish up a days work as managing agents and coaching them to up performance takes time in helping the agent develop. As it's difficult to keep the agent of the dialer door long periods of time.

Pros: Always being constructive as it's always busy
Cons: Distance wise and shift times
