Great experience platform

Worked well with my colleagues and gained trust with my team as we worked together as a unit. Great shift as I also had time for my family. What I learned and enjoyed was that the environment was very dynamic and eco friendly. What I enjoyed least was long hours and short breaks that were implemented.

My overall review of a typicall working day

a typical work day is servicing customers with good customer service and always seeing to there needs and making sure what they are calling for is dealt with. i have a very good understanding with mu co-workers and love working ain my team and others i have learnt alot from the time i have started here, meaning how to deal with different problems on a daily bases and most of all working with different sort of customers from other countries because i do work for a uk based company. i enjoy working with my co-workers because a happy environment gives a happy outcome. dealing with customers querys on a daily bases because you face different issues everyday

Cons: long working hours, and working late on weekends

Excellent learning curve

I have been working for UK call centres for over 5 years now. And WNS had one of the best campaigns, British Gas. I went from customer service associate to sales associate in a less than 3 months. Which, scary as it was, was very excited and I learnt so much.

Learning Curve

On a normal day as an Assurance Consultant at the Technical Department we troubleshoot Telkom network devices (Network routers, modems and telephone lines).We try by all measures to assist customer to connect to their internet service and if needs be we assign onsite technicians to go to the customer premises or the exchange.

Excellent customer care skills,Taught me the ability multi-task.

A good relationship of between the co-workers is a high light. A typical work day. I enjoy the appreciation i get from customer when their services they order from me are up and running helping the business operate and the thanks we get for an irate customer when we have resolved his query. I have learnt to have patience and to multi task.I have taught myself to walk in someones shoes. The biggest challenge is not having an enough support system to help the customer to the fullest. As most people with knowledge of the business process have left it can be difficult to get the full know how of how to go about resolving certain queries.

Pros: Great opportunity to getting ahead in the company.

Eager and fast learner.

The company consist of about 2000 employees. WNS is an outsourcing company for international clients such as the campaign I worked on named BRG "British Gas Residential". Well the campaign majorly focused on Customer Care but we also needed to manage sales meaning on each customer related query we as the advisors needed to sell one of our products which we felt the customer would benefit from. WNS wasn't just a company which employed me it became my family a place I spend most of my days at, my team felt like my siblings and my team manager my mother, WNS didn't just provide jobs according to my knowledge it provided me with a career but sadly that ended when moved to Johannesburg.

New day , New possibilities

Working at the company i am at always brings about new possibilities. I work with people everyday with different problems, some of these problems are easy to solve and some require some skill and for me to go an extra mile. I enjoy doing this since it is a pleasure to know that i've helped a person. The most challenges come when dealing with difficult clients who doesnt want to listen. This is where i have to stay calm and remember that this person needs my help.

Excellent Learning Curve

Being employed at the WNS company has opened many doors for me and I have learnt a lot as an individual and as a sales person. The company holds strong values of Team work and also encourages personal growth of every employee. As an SMBS Otbound agent I handle small, medium business enterprises. This gives me a sense of responsibility as I have to provide solutions for the businesses and maintain clients relationship. I contact customers on a daily basis introducing new products, upgrading and upselling to make their business efficient. This includes products such as Mobile, LTE, Fibre and FLLA. I have learnt a lot over the past 3 years but most of all is to be true to who you are and stand for your values so no matter where you go you don’t compromise your worth.

Great learning opportunity for customer service related fields

Working at WNS is very demanding and experimental at the same time. Working with customer queries and logging and closing customer incidents and working with them during installations is an experience filled with more learning and experiences. A day at work about dealing with customers from different backgrounds with different queries and I make sure that I provide the best customer experience to each one I meet through a call.rking at WNS is very demanding and experimental at the same time.
