i have used this opportunity at this company to gain more experience and exposure, i have learned a lot by being a customer service agent. i have the experience to lead a team i been exposed to the team leader duty as a SME for the company

Great start up to starting a career in sales and customer service.
Its a great company to gain experience and start up your career. Its a learning curve where you develop who you are and what you want as a career. A typical day at work is answering calls all day and satisfying the customer. You only get limited time to socialize as you constantly on the phone.

I can say iv'e learnt a lot within the organisation. experience i did gain
. I am a good team player as I work well with my team and I am always will to help my colleagues when they need my assistance Within my first year as a Senior Associate have assisted as a stand-in Team Leader (Assistant Manager Ops) for week, In April 2016 I was chosen as 1 of 8 guys to do coaching, train and prepare the new agents that are about to go live on the floor and also we coach them once they are on the floor to make sure they are using the right systems and helping the customers accurately.Most of those agents were taken to other departments(promoted) I displayed strong leadership skills through motivating my mentees to provide world class service on all interactions

Excellent learning curve
Great learning dvelopment programs. Updates on product and systems. Relationship with co workers are excellent. I've learnt a lot for the 4 years that i've been working there. Assisting clients to the best of our ability and professionalism. The only challenge for me is the fact that there's no real reward for top performers incentive wise and no perfomance bonus.

Very Fast learner and love challenges when I work
My Current work environment is challenging and enjoy it. A typical work in the office is all about enjoying my work and solving the customers problem and leaving my customers happy is what makes me happy. The relationship with my co- workers is very much more of family always solving problem together. I Have learnt very much technical issue that I never knew about and much more into customer service side, What I enjoy the most leaving my customers happy and having my co-workers around me. Most Challenging issue is not getting the customers issue resolved and not getting a technician assigned on the customers fault where as the fault has been logged for a long time, that is what frustrates me

I have. learned a lot, problem solving skill and dealing with irate clients
I do like working in a call centre environment , working with different people is it pasion. I have learned many things, solving customer's problems,and I still need to learn more. There is a whereby we were given a perfomance bonus, I nearly cried when heard my name called. There are challenges in a call centre but I try by all means to overcome them. Doing your job perfect but using your skills. your will definitely meet your kpi's.

Not good
The environment is not appealing for workers,not much attention to the employees as per motivation however critism is always there which drags one down.Afraid of management because they are mighty tgan others.

Working at Telkom for 6 years in the call centre has thought me a lot, working with people who have so much information to share not only about work but about life itself. Telkom was a home away from home with bothers and sisters who are always there to give a helping hand whenever any of us is down and thought me to love and respect the person next to me and open up to ask and give help when required. The call centre is a challenging job with a lot of pressure but being in the Technical support for many years has thought me to be able to work with all kinds of people in terms of customer and to handle all kinder of pressure as you required to assist the customer telephonecally and maintain good stets. Now being at WNS for a year in the very same environment has thought me to lead by an example to the new people and share the very same information i got during my Telkom days
