Excellent learning curve

I am learning so much especially how to interact with customers. And am an all round consultant. Do claims look after the branch when the manager is not around.escalate complaints and handle queries

Challenging but good environment

Hard work is the order of the day. It gives great joy when everything comes together and the hard work pays off. Stressful environment- you need to work together with your co workers as they serve as a support structure when thing get abit too much. You need to think off your feet at times- which I enjoy. I enjoy interacting with clients- it gets busy roughly during lunch hours, that's when I get to see a Lot of clients all with different needs. The cohesion in the branch is amazing (staff) as we work towards the same goal. I've learned not to take things personal- do your best, help where needed and go home at the end of the day. Working with alot of different people all with different expectations , views and ways of doing things can get too much if you don't learn how to handle them. Ask where you don't understand- listen to what the client wants.

Excellent

It can be streassfull environement as its target related environment relationship is very good with teammates team work is the best i have learnt a lot i started at early stage collectiom and currently at legal i have learned a lot of legal terms and legal actions process is followed how legal documents looks eg sec58 documents summons letters and we focusing on rand value very importand and clients that settles the loans

Pros: There are quete great opportunities to grow they most in departments were you need to be willing to relocate to other provinces
Cons: No long hours normal shift 8 till 17:00 and saturdays and some pubkic holidays

Growth and more money

Everyday is a very quite day which at the end of the day I do not become productive. Yes we do go out for Marketing but there is no pisitive outcome. I get drained daily which I find not healthy for myself.

Excellent customer services

At old mutual finance I was financial consultant were we as employees we were providing financial education to customers, distribution of sales, responding to correspondents of customers. And I have learn a lot during my time there like how to provide good excellent service to customers and how to deal with difficult customers also how sell the company product to its clients.

Pros: My target was increase due to my good perfomance

Great Employer

Great management, good working environment, great working hours, space for growing within the company, fantastic training, very good culture. Great team leaders, gets a bonus once a year, every year at end of March. Management are encouraged and making you part of all awareness and movements within the company.

It is a learning experience

Meeting with a number of clients is not such a big deal. I am learning to communicate well and doing presentations. It is a great experience however, one needs to be committed to the job.

Big company to work for

Best company to work for. Excellent reporting structure and they provide good training for new and old stuff. Competitive salary structure and it the company give exposure to banking and insurance.

Good communication skills,hard working,self motivated,lives appoan values

I Love working with people ,got leadership skills,i getting along with all my co workers and participate in group works,i have learnt that in the sales industry you need to be happy at all times in order to perform well and you also need to push beyond boundaries
