Excellent Development Starting Point
My current workplace is quite good at improving staff to suit particular positions and rolls. They pride themselves at being a competitive service provider, one of the leading logistics companies in the country. In my experience, they have had a great impact in my development within the industry and they continue to nurture staff into well rounded employees. I have learned the cycle of Supply Chain, value of service providers and deducing skills in regards problem solving and producing solutions that are both cost effective and progressive. The most challenging aspect of my current work place would probably be the lack of growth once the development phase has reached a certain point. I am all for loyalty but not at the cost of self improvement and progression. So i find it difficult to understand how people can be happy doing one function for over 5 years without any attempt to move forward in their careers.
Pros: Excellent Starting Point for young individuals looking to build a solid foundation within the industry.
Cons: Lack of forward thinking in regards to processes and allowing young people the opportunity to challenge themselves.

My Review
My normal work day consists of a scheduled task list that is scheduled per priority. All activities to me are viewed as imperative. I take time out in the day, once all my tasks are completed , to try and better reports and processes. I experience a vast amount of pressure and can work well with work stresses in a fast environment. I like assisting my peers with any difficulties as I believe that all failures and triumphs are group efforts. On certain tasks, I prefer working alone. I get on well with all kinds of personalities and can adapt well to change. The most enjoyable part of my job is the problem solving that I am required to do. When I solve a problem, it gives me a sense of accomplishment. It allows me to learn more than i knew. The challenging part of my job is sometimes trying to prove myself too much. I try to show people how much I have to offer when they do not feel the need to make use of my talents.

Have learnt a lot in operations, clearing and communication with shipping lines
very challenging keeps you on your toes.. literally shipment need to be cleared timeously co-workers are great people to work with and that makes it easy to do my job work well under pressure and don't need supervision to work as a team and how to multi task and work well under pressure enjoy the people mostly, staff month end invoicing , deadlines are met but have to make sure clients receive their invoices on time
Pros: benefit, good bonus and the fact that we don't work weekends

Excellent learning curve
I was working under immense pressure as a result I suffered from CVA-stroke. My right hand side which is also my dominent side was affected. It's has thus become weak, managed to regain mobility and control/power but still very weak.

Excellent opportunity
- the leaning of new people on daily basis is what i like more because grows me and my skill sets - the typical work day is always challenging because of the amount of work load that i go through - the different procedures that one needs to adhere too are very strict that is challenging - learning this job is never over because one need continuously developing as a person and i like that - my co workers we get along like brothers and sister and should i leave this place that is one major thing i would miss - i like the fact that we have a state of the art equipment's eg. Computers , facility ,transport vehicle ,security ect

Good company to learn and gain experience
Hardest days can be difficult costumers, but we learn to adjust to them. dealing with different personnel is what i like and always accept any challenge that is coming to my way. Bidvest Panalpina Logistics is a fun workplace the people there are all friendly , talkative and well mannered people almost everyone there have very good work ethics It is a large logistics company with a very busy warehouse, challenging administration work that requires a lot of attention and a very detailed person to work with. Hardest days can be difficult costumers, but we learn to adjust to them. dealing with different personnel is what i like and always accept any challenge that is coming to my way.
Pros: Site visits. Free transportation to christmas parties and goodie bags

Good listening skill and excellence work
good listening skills and a hard working and i can work under pressure. i have a lot in Bidvest panalpina logistics working as a learner for two years and i have gained a lot of experience. i have learned on what customs department actually does customs is the official department that administers and collects duties levied by the government (SARS) on import goods.i also learned on how to do customs clearance work that involve preparation and submission of the documentations required to facilitate export or imports into the country representing client during customs examination assessment payment of duty and co taking delivery of the cargo from customs after clearance along with documents. the relationship with BPL people was very usual they were treating like a permanent i employee and they were really inspiring me on what they really know about the departments. and they were really no challenging at all i enjoyed a lot because they were teaching me very nice.they taught me on what Bpl does.
