Excellent learning opportunity
I learned everything I know at BPL, I will carry all skills learned into my next job and grow myself further. My day at work was very busy, from morning till close, which was good because the days and weeks got by really quick, everyday was a new challenge which meant more experience learned. I had a really good team and we got along perfectly, there was negativity when socializing with other teams but I kept away from the negative people. I learned corporate skills, how to communicate with very high level people on a professional level on email, telephone and attending meeting's, I learned the whole logistics, warehousing and shipping industry and what role each sector plays. I enjoyed the daily challenges of dealing with problems and special requests from client's.
Pros: Exposed to a lot so I learned a lot
Cons: long working hours and stressful with deadlines.

Managing office and capturing
working at a big company like bidvest i have learn a lot of thing like receiving stock some time and capturing receipts filling.i have never meet challenge because i am a fast learner

To do handling of dangerous goods and fire fighting course and emergency evacuation
I'm doing my picks every morning after I'm done offload containers and do cycle count.my relationship with my colleagues is important because I'm the kind of person who always want to learn new things and we like the family.I have learnt most of work I know today thru my colleagues. I enjoy the most when I reach my daily target.The most challenging aspects is when you don't know your stock.
Pros: If I can get promotion I can go to school and make my certificate to be degree.
Cons: Since I'm coming from the security industry long working hours is not a problem to me.

Great opportunity for growth and empowerment
Working at my previous company which is Bidvest Panalpina Logistics was a great experience I started at the company through a learnership programme and i became permanently employed from 2013 until I left in 2018 to pursue my business interest. The company is very professionally run and regulations compliant. They have great facilities and up to date working equipments including computers The work environment is great and they give employees great opportunities to learn and empower themselves through internal courses. Working as an In-house controller there was challenging yet rewarding at the same time. I have learned to work well under pressure and to be customer oriented, I have enjoyed working with different people from different levels of management and they have all supported me throughout my time there.
Pros: There are good opportunities for promotions as i have individually grown through the company from being a Learner in 2011 to being an In-house controller in 2018
Cons: There aren't a lot of cons except having the pressure of completing your given tasks and ensuring that work is done accurately
