Excellent learning curve
I was working under immense pressure as a result I suffered from CVA-stroke. My right hand side which is also my dominent side was affected. It's has thus become weak, managed to regain mobility and control/power but still very weak.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion

A typical work day involves organising, planning and addressing action items. My relationship with co workers is one of being approachable as my role entails that I upskill and develop employees in terms of understanding compliance and the reason why certain things need to be done. I enjoy interacting with new and different people each day including travelling across the country to share my knowledge and experience that I have gained over the years.

I pick and prepare the goods that need to be collected and dispatch them to Drivers. Do daily Cycle Count, and monthly wall to wall stock count to control the stock movement. Supply Chain Management National Certificate through Istitution for Quality (IQ)
Pros: I have a great opportunity for Promotions because I have Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination experience.
Cons: 8 Hours during the week and we sometimes work until 9pm. we work also on weekends if need be.

Learning new things and the challenge of meeting key objectives.
Every day at work is a new challenge which we need to over come to meet the customer’s expectations. Saving and minimizing costs is what we try to do daily to strive in the competitive market. Building and maintaining relationships with our co-workers ; customers and potential customers. I enjoy the daily challenges in the transport industry and still meeting or exceeding our customer expectations.
Pros: More experience in the road freight.

No balance
The work environment is pleasant, however feel we are short stuffed as there is only 2 service desk agents which causes a big problem when one is absent and there is lots of call that people are logging. The processes are not intact, they get chopped and changed especially when an executive failed to follow process but the entire team gets blamed.
Pros: the team is small hence opportunities for growth are very limitted
Cons: work non appreciated.

Great learning curve
It used to be a fun place, but as times changes things are getting difficult daily. with many people leaving the company a lot of work is becoming too much. My relationship with co-workers is good but some times its just too much. i have learnt everything i know about the freight industry from this company and the people. I enjoy the challenges within the export department and I am willing to learn more, the most challenging aspect are when there is too many shipment and there is inspections required which might delay and frustrate the client.
Pros: Big company to work for
Cons: Not too many opportunities for an up and coming generation

Excellent company to work for.
Typical work day was started off by checking if there was no issues the night before with regards to the scheduled jobs or the system having issues. Most people were easy to work with, friendly and helpful. I learned how to manage my work and time. How to deal with clients, internal/external. One of the challenging things I faced would have to be communication with the internal staff.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotions and to move around within the company
