Good Company. no growth oppertunity
Setting up meetings with clients. Following up on clients. Doing all the documentation necessary for meeting with clients and doing daily reports. I enjoy meeting new people everyday. Setting up appointments and fulfilling the clients needs. Closing the deal and making sure that I give the client the best service possible. Making sure to have the product knowledge I need and being able to sell myself to tge client.

Working at Old Mutualwas a learning curve as it was my first in the insurance industry.
Through working experience I have learned more about business ethics, basic office work , research framework and communication skills. I am committed to quality service delivery, possess excellent customer service and pay attention to detail. My occupation has allowed me to maintain a high of confidentiality and how to build and maintain harmonous relationships with clients and co workers. I enjoy interacting with people and working on a team environment.
Pros: learning experience on how to constantly interact and build relationships with clients.
Cons: people never realise what you offer them is something they need.

hard work very approachable team player honest integrity pushing beyond boundaries take ownership and accountability Good fit with the corporate culture... someone to feel comfortable with.., a team player who meshes well with the interviewer’s team. Likeability / positive attitude / Sense of humour. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Dedication - willingness to walk the extra mile to achieve excellence.

U able to interact with different client,understand the importance role of advicing clients financial nd able solve any query,the most important is to reach ur target become a role model to your collegues,doing presentation to client is one of the easy thing to do,I'm very happy at old mutual,to experience something challenging for me it will be a good thing

Analytical quick learner
My typical work day as a underwriter involves financially and medically underwriting prospective clients applying for insurance. An underwriter's duty is to evaluate risk and ensure that we put good risk on books and also charge premiums accordingly - based on age, income and health status. Very good relationships with peers as well as management. In underwriting you learn something new everyday - come across new disease and many times financial requirements change based on laws.

Excellent experience gained
Very determined and disciplined work are, keeping a maintaned diary of appointments of client to see daily and weekly, filling out of business km claimed daily. Best way of gaining client service skills and interaction skills. Learned allot about financial situation in country and how peoples goals and plans change according to own finances and worth of money overall.
