Excellent company i learnt alot
I was happy at old mutual only thing was my safety i loved the environment driving to different clients , meeting different clients everyday having the ability to offer them financial problems

I think i am under paid compared to what is out on the market.
working hours from 8:00am to 16:00pm. Monday to Friday. call existing Old Mutual clients to do a portfolio overview and also identify possible gaps. Forward client information to advisors. I work in a team environment and I am one of the senior members of my team in terms of experience and knowledge , the other team members comes to me on a regular basis for assistance. Hard work and determination equals success. Every call is different and every interaction with a client is different. Dealing with different clients on a daily basis.

Excellent
It is great working at Old Mutual as it is a place where you can learn every day. Your co-workers are always welcoming and friendly and they never make you feel worthless. i have learnt that one should always be presentable and always make a good impression.

Good learning curve
My working days are always organized as I working according to my planner which is something everyday and I always make sure I plan ahead. My co-works and I always help each other to succeed and reach our weekly target. I have learnt that being a team player helps a lot because you get to share ideas and encourage each other to work harder as a team . I enjoy working with people because I learn on an everyday basis how to handle clients and especially when your under pressure. Challenges occurs when I get rejected by clients because it puts more pressure on me, whereby I have weekly target to reach but it doesn't stop me to pursue other clients into taking policies. The other challenge is when you get postponed by client only to find that you rely on them for a sale to make your daily target and it affects my business for the day.
Pros: Working long hours pays off sometimes if things go your way and sometimes you don't get business but only prospects.
Cons: I am always willing to work long our to push sales in order to reach my target in that way i will get more bonuses with my productivity.

My history
My history I have over 9 years experience in selling . I work well with my co workers and I have learned that you need to be patient when dealing with people, challenging part is sometimes not getting the right customers to take the insurance etc. I am a hard working individual with good communication skills, planning and organizing skill, problem solving skills, disciplined, highly resourceful, honest and a client centric person. My future career goal is to associate myself with a dynamic organization that values and can utilize my skills in a position requiring resourcefulness and diversity in dealing with organizational development and customer service

I have Regulatory examinations Certiicate
Its a good company because they pay for our RE and also Fais modules.Before i started working for them,They took me to training so that i can learn about their products.My colligues are so helpfull because if i struggle with my target they help me...infact we are working as a team so we are helping each other because we are unique individuals whom each of us has different weakpoints and strong points.If i have excelled my targets there are presents given to motivate each one of us,There are also competitions for team players.The team that wins get something.
Pros: There are opportunities especially if I've passed all the modules

Know your clients
Talking about my bonus....i never reach my targets and we even had to collect the instal from our clients after disbursing the loan nd also we had 4 targets to meet a month with collection for me i find it challenging but i was doing and put my best because i was always half the target that i have to make a month..for me it was the best because i was always working to achieve something to show my what im here for. Whats is chsllenging is that,each and everyday we commit by two ppl tht will come do loans but most of the time thy keep postponing of which it makes a delay for a target of a day..to approach clients its my living its my thing my clients love me i always reach a target of opening cards...also to do a comparison btwn me nd my othr coleague is also nice because it drives you to work hard....and also to ask others how they do it to make thier targets nd also to assist you by calling and to do a different aproach than mine....it is very nice to work together its called a team building.
