Its a good place to grow if you are hungry for financial freedom. And the is a high chance for promotion. And the environment is good to work in. Sales. Customer care. Follow up.

No opportunity for promotion. No beneficial increases. No back up staff for when leave is taken.

I mostly work with short term insurance which I love. I am an easy going person that can work with any kind of person. My typical work day would be following up on outstanding cases, taking in new business, new claims and providing feedback to our clients. I love my job. The challenging aspect of my job is sorting out claims. This part of the job is not always going according to plan.

Cons: No opportunity for promotion and bad salary

Continious growth

Dealing with clients in a call center client services position. Answering queries about the clients accounts and making sure that the clients are sertisfied. Enjoyed working with other people form different backgrounds. Learned how to be resiliant and persuasive.

It's an experience of a life time in my level entry

I have got the sales skill and how to deal with different type of people's personalities, listening skills and stepping out of my comfort zone. Some times it's a stressful job hard to sleep at night but I got through that but adapting to the change. I can stand for any kind of work pressure now as for what am going through ever day.

Excellent learning curve

Working as an administrator, monitoring the submition of new and existing business, coaching newly appointed advisors. Filing, data capturing, faxing and office inventory.

Learning curve

The work was commision based. You are financially unstable. Because you only get paid as long as the clients pay their policies. There are months that you dont get paid because of lapses coming through.

Great Company

I am entirely committed to the focus, targets and goals of the company that I work for. Have strong proficiency for setting goals, monitoring progress, and taking initiative to improve my work. I constantly aim to improve myself in ways that will be beneficial to both me and the company. Giving my utmost effort and delivering the best possible service to clients is something that I believe is a non-negotiable in the workplace. Excellent traning

working at oldmutual has been a plesure with absolutely professional working enviroment along with excellent team work. the training provided has been really helpful and knowleagable. the flexibility and understanding working enviroment. the challenge is the targtes that have to be met on a monthly basis.
