How to solve problems, basically challenges that we face with clients

My daily activities include opening savings accounts, assisting clients with their transactions and handing out personal loans to clients. We also do telemarketing ,which basically includes calling clients to invite them into the branch for new services which we have to offer, or doing follow ups based on service received in the branch.

Pros: Awards for great work
Cons: working longer hours, unlike most banks, and no commission

No opportunity for growth

Long working hours. Company only cares for its clients. Employees mean nothing to the company. No benefits. Dont even have a staff account. Work on public holidays. Unreachable targets.

Pros: None
Cons: Long hours. No benefits. Staff are overworked and fatigued.

Amazing atmosphere and great learning environment

The company has grown so much in the time I have been there. I have learnt so much and still learning even more as I grow in the company. I work with a young yet very energetic team that makes my day rather something to consistently look forward to. I have learnt a lot on people skills and emotional intelligence. It's not always going to be easy working with people but I have taken every challenge as a learning curve. Good client service goes without saying, as the company thrives to make this 1 particular area something we should pride ourselves on, which I really do. In the end though, growth is good,change too and I feel ready to explore other things outside retail .

Pros: Promotions are encouraged
Cons: Some potential great leaders are constantly lost due to the psychomatric tests that aren't passed. (Tests don't get reviewed).

Working for capitec

It is very nice to work at capitec, working with people has improved my level of patience as an individual. I enjoy most the learning activities that they load every week for us, the most challenging thing about the job is the working hours.

Priority- customer satisfaction

Working at Capitec has equipped me with multi tasking skills that enables me to handle any curve balls thrown my way. It has taught me patience, to listen attentively and not just stick to tasks that are limited to my job description. Team work and working towards a common goal motivated my team and I to support each each and give constructive feedback that makes us want worker harder and be better version of ourselves.

Pros: Ever changing products keep you me in my toes and pushes me to do better.

Excellent learning curve

The company believes in its employees, we are all given fair treatment. The only thing worrying me is that you can get dismissed any time and working hours are a lot.

Excellent learning grooming curve

Best foundation any employee needs to start getting into any industry. Capitec Bank has groomed me even more, made me cope even more under pressure and showed me that nothing is impossible. I recently received An Award for Best Service Consultant of 2016 in our Region. I am a naturally high striving worker. You wouldn't regret having me part of your company

Great for experience in banking sector.

Good company to work with when starting up. It will teach you about overall banking client experience. The cons are that at some days the working hours are too long that you are allocated to have lunch at 4pm.

Excellent learning curve

Day to day interaction with clients Telemarketing Issuing credit Opening accounts Dealing with client disputes Dealing with general client queries Teller What I learnt the most is different personalities of different people and how to handle each one of them. We work as a family, very cohesive and respectful towards each other.

Pros: Great opportunities for improving one's interpersonal and customer communication skills
