Work/Life balance Capitec bank is a growing company which then puts alot of continuos strain on the employees which then result in employees not having life outside the work place like family time as u only get one off in a week

Transparency around the work space

-getting along very well with team my team members, -self management taking responsibility of my tasks/ work. -taking calls from branch service consultants -confirming fica documents, unlocking fixed term savings plans,escalating fraud incidents,stopping clients lost or stolen cards,linking card on the system,correcting early debited loans, drafting payed up letters. -making sure a call is resolved first time within the allocated time.

Pros: working for the number one growing bank in the country.
Cons: retail working hours, working on sundays and public holidays

I am a distinctive result-driven, team player and competitive person. Through my work experience I have gained a sturdy ability to apply logic and reasoning by effective communication skills, executive orders and adhere to protocol. I possess outstanding communication and research skills along with a passion for excellence and communicable enthusiasm. My experience at Capitec bank has been the most beneficial to me as I have discovered my passion for working with numbers and enjoying it. I also have learnt to acquire the ability to work under pressure and maintain an esteemed level of professionalism.

Excellent learning curve and it teaches u discipline

I have a great relationship with my co-workers in the sense we motivate each other and share ideas on how to perfom better to reach our targets as a branch. I learnt to be independent to take ownership about my work and be responsible.

Excellent learning curve

Its a good environment, work well as a team, have continuous learning, working long hours, limited company benefits, prepared me In terms of work experience, how to work with different people everyday.managing other people's finance and helping them make sound decisions

Good learning opportunity

Manage clients complaints, assist clients with whatever assistance they need,open accounts and grant credit. Do cashier duties nd give clients options based on our product offer

Continuos improvememt

My strength is in developing my Sales pipeline strategies so as to meet and exceed my Targets, I was in charge of 25 branches in a huge area with 21 individuals reporting to me, so planning was important as the area was too big. I am currently working for Le Morgan as a Sales Branch Manager looking after 48 Sales Reps

Great company

Great company to work for; they keep you up to date with innovation and technology aswell as new financial law changes regarding the financial sector of the business itself. Every Wednesday we having a team learning session We also recieve online assignments to do so the company tries to make sure you are always well informed and is equipped with the neccesary knowledge to assist in your work and production process Working for capitec has to tought me a great deal and has given me insight to the financial world and how to run whether it be a business or personal life matter

Learning curve

Working for Capitec was time consuming and at times a thankless job,you were made to feel like you had to thank the employer everyday for giving you employment. Corporate culture was horrible as the management made you feel like you were working at their farm. For you to get promoted you have to kiss a lot of #$$.i spent almost all my life working at Capitec (8 years) but in terms of learning I learnt that if you don't follow your dreams someone will hire you and make your life miserable to follow theirs(Thats Capitec bank)

Pros: Good ideas in terms of how a bank can offer it clientelle
Cons: Longest working hours with no suffient remuneration.

Customer service experience

I work well with my colleagues as well with my management but the challenging part is long hours and its pretty hard to grow or you have to be there longer in order to be recognised in the company. I work well with my clients, the response i get from them and helping them sort out their problems if asked too.

Pros: To be able to sort daily clients problems
Cons: long working hours
