DUTIES • Credit Controlling/ Advising Client on their account • Collection Assisting Client Telephonically with regards • To Financial Information as ABSA Vehicle and Assets Finance Product • Consultation with CIT (Face to Face) • Updating details on System for GTS • Tracing GTS on ITC • Issuing Article on Letters • Preventing Impairments • Rehabilitating Clients Accounts Managing Book of 4080 Account (Book Value) • Handling of Funds • Filling • Educating Clients about the Status of their Account • Excellent Customer Service • Arrangements to bring Account up to date • Verify CIT Details (e.g. ID and Address) - Resolve customer queries timeously - Update daily banking on computer to customer’s records - Trace direct deposits on Bank statements - Authorize release of picking slips for accounts on hold. - Follow up on outstanding proof of delivery documents and provide to customers,

Ability to learn

Iam a hard working lady who take her job very seriously.I always put my all in everything that ido.working for Absa was very challenging and I enjoyed loved it

From next year I want to do my NQF level 5

Being with the company for so many years I have work in different department such as in the teller area you learn to stay focus so that you can balance at the end of the day. You learn to be patient because you work with different clients. Working in different department has given me a since of understanding that as people we are not the same. Colleagues are the best people to work with but all is needed is team work and good communication. Being a managerial poison has fought me that you need to understand your your co workers but at the same time be able to make them deliver the best result at the end of the day. Motivate and inspire them to do more for their growth , groom peoe and give them a chance.

Pros: Being a manager will be greatest challenge that I know I am ready for.
Cons: Work and be acknowledged for what you do.

It's quite an experience.

My day starts from 8am to 4pm, I basically deal with clients the whole day. Dealing with customers querries and resolving them. I work very well with my colleagues and we have a good working relationship and we are able to help each other in order to make sure we give our customers excellent customer service.

Pros: It provides very good and practical inside training.
Cons: ABSA does not pay well at all their customer facing employees.

Great experience

A wonderful place to full experience in all the department of retail banking have to be a good team player have to be willing to learner and if you are , you get the full learning experience , they have a wonderful working environment wonderful studying opportunities.

It was good lerning experience

I am professional and I respect my colleagues and management . I prioritise my work as it flows in and target all my dead lines . I have learn so much that i didnt know as far as accounts when clients is deceased and engageing with lawyers and other stake holders. I learned to be decreet with sensintive information .

No space for growth

It's difficult to work for a company for 9yrs and not be given a chance to explore other departments and your salary still stays the same. I've been in the same position ever since I started with them. They've always declined my internal applications they prefer bringing people from the out side.

Pros: its a good career starter
Cons: no space for growth

Great customer service love to work with people and great team player, with the passion to serve and educate people financially and empower them. Easy to adapt to change and welcome it in a positive manner.

Excellent and easy to learn person
