My typical day starts with meeting business product owner to get any new requirements. The RFS would then be logged with Analysis item. I would then look at the RFS and then engage the relavent stakeholders to unpack the RFs and put a draft FRS which business would then review. This normal starts with international review. I work in delivery team setup so the whole team is accountable for the solution, so team is very vital. I normal work hand in hand with testers and developers. Having been a test analyst also helps as my specs have scenarios for test cases which can be used for UAT as well. I also get involved in coordinate UAT and organising the correct super user for the change that needs to be tested

Vast opportunities of growth
Working for WesBank is working in a very flexible environment. Every day gives opportunities of growth. My colleagues and staff is like working in my own company. My colleagues are a library to me, I learn daily. My staff have all skills to achieve the Bank objectives. I have learnt to manage, cooperate, finance management, people and performance management, amongst many. My job needs me to move country wide, spend time away and less time home. That could be challenging sometimes when family has homework.

Change catalyst, Information Architecture Thought Leader
I engage at all levels of the organization to drive and be a change catalyst for the implementation and embedment transforming the organization to become insights driven. In order for any organization to be become insights driven, I assist the various Information Management, Information Governance and analytical business capabilities, to align to the architecture vision to execute on the data strategy. I look especially at effecting the change from a people, process, technology and data aspects. I enjoy knowing that the foundational work that I build up today would have a huge benefit in the near future, safeguarding the business and ensuring that through improved analytics and insights that they can grow within a very challenging economic climate. This to me means that indirectly I make a difference in peoples lives not only with WesBank but also effecting thought leadership, awareness and challenging the status co within the FirstRand group.

Good learning curve
My review is that I've learnt to conduct myself and the business with trust, honesty, intetgrity, dignity and transparency. Ethical business practice and conduct to name but a few.. I enjoyed the challenges that came with the job as I was dealing with different characters on a daily basis. There was good working relations. I enjoyed when the close of the month as I was suppose to submit my monthly reports, the pressure that goes with it. Dealing with difficult clients sometimes was not that much of a challenge as I handled their queiries diligently so.
