Dynamic organisational culture

A typical day at work includes a quick early review of the overnight production performance and breakdowns and attending to any unresolved issues, onces all issues are resolved or recorded I would confirm the days production meetings and prepare for them, once completed I then work on any projects I have running until end of work day. Time and again I would have to attend to daily breakdown taking records and initiating RCA. I reported directly to the maintance manager while overseeing a team of 41 artisans. A typical day involved a number of conflict resolution among the team and with management over incorrently conducted work or overtime work and payments. What I have learned the most is how to navigate a dynamic culture of informal processes and organisational structures while learning valuable engineering skills by taking lead roles in a number of improvement projects.

Pros: Given responsibility over large projects
Cons: Distorted organisational culture
