I have learnt to take my job seriouse and I enjoyed working with the guys from the despatch
If given a chance i will not hesitate to work for nampak again, although some times i felt like i wasn't treated the way i deserve especially when it comes to me being a contract worker for 10 years.

MDP this make me comfortable to take calculated risk and effective decision making
Daily routine work includes plant inspection job scoping ,daily meetings weekly and monthly meetings assisting maintenance manager in his ad-hoc task safety inspection ,compliance in lifting equipment, maintenance schedules as well and root coarse analysis CEDAC ( cause effect diagram with added cards) .The team is aimed to continuous improvement, in order to improve availability. very good relationship with pears because I need that in order to determine the root cause of any problem. Maintenance planning and scheduling supervision and managing the whole Planning team. Enjoying my work as a result seeking higher responsibilities to use my GCC.as this was my biggest achievement together with my MDP this make me comfortable to take calculated risk and effective decision making.

Career learning growth
At my work we most deal with customer complaints, pack tests, internal and external reporting. We interact with one another within the company through emails, telephone and meetings. I have learnt how to be the best of what you do. I also learnt team working and professionalism. I learnt communication and been attending seminars, workshops and training. I enjoy to work on a project that will involve investigation and team work (challenges). Customer complaints and information gathering simple because we do not interact with the customers direct.

Nampak is in my blood. Started there as a junior and worked my way up to management.
After sooo many years with Nampak, I have decided a change was required. What I learnt and experienced within Nampak was amazing and nobody can take that away. I worked hard, starting out as a junior buyer and worked my way up to the Supply Chain Manager. My commitment, passion and drive are the main contributors to my success. Pushing people to attain their best and ensuring they enjoy the ride. I believe in working with a team not a team working for me. My years of experience has taught me that we all spend hours at work and if you can love what you do, it just makes it worth while.

I'm a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a RED SEAL Certificate.
My typical day to day occupation consist of working with Pneumatic/Hydraulics, Bearings, Motors, Gearboxes and other heavy industrial equipment. I enjoy working with my colleagues as we function well within a team ensuring to meet company criteria on a daily basis. I have learnt to work well under pressure despite challenges such as major breakdowns of machinery and being short staffed while enduring extensive working hours.
Pros: I'm in search of a permanent Job where there is opportunity for growth.
