Daily inspections and corrective work ons breakdowns

The mine was a big mine so it had all the tools needed to do the job and i found that very nice so the job would have been done in a shorter period of time that it would if we did not have the tools,they where strict when it comes to their training an safety,had alot of benefits to help their employees,they tried to keep you connected and to have a voice

Excellent a

I had an amazing learning curve in the company. Most of the work was green field and development was happening from day I put my foot in that company. Management was value employees and benefits were improving. AP team was energetic all the time, especially on month end we were all running around for signing payments run. Remember we went dealing with big vendors and we didn't want to hear about 'stop supply' Challenges were there but guess what we all learn from it. Retrenchment was the only one thing that put a stop on what I was doing. More than that I love my job. Challenges on not getting invoices on time, or the quantity is incorrect on month end statement not received and we need to release payment and submit reconciliation.

Committed to excellence

Have been working for this company for 20 years. Started as a miner and worked myself up to a mine overseer. Great company to work for. Good balance between cultures. High on safety driven mile stones. Production orientated with safety as the main drive. Care for its people and ensure a good balance between sosial and work relationships

Challenging

Morning meeting preparations for the day duties for the artisans with job cards I enjoyed working with the team and management very helpful and we had an open door policy I learned about parts of the equipments (trucks) I was not only working with permanent employees but with service providers as well

Coal mining, underground sector and plant Relationship with the Company was very good I learn a lot , how be a manager, priorotise , descipline, and self motivated also learn how to do time Manangement Production is the key Safety coal Safety always all the way Make sure we do profit Availability of all equipment must be 95% to reach our target and profit to Value the Company also compliy to mission statement and values
