The 4 months candidacy programme involves conducting research and creating value propositions for the company’s future business endeavour within the energy, water and agriculture sector. Responsibilities: o Conduct formal value proposition presentations to the steering committee o Work with senior specialists in the department to prepare initial value propositions, value proposition reports and presentations o Propose business ideas through doing research and collaborating with senior specialists o Learn, engage and contribute to the Business of Tomorrow department projects in progress

Working for an International Company
Working for my current company has allowed me to travel, and see how the company operates internationally. Setting up new systems can be challenging, but to work together locally and internationally is a great benefit. The co-workers is always friendly. Due to the industry, we are always working under pressure to get the work done in time, and achieving milestones. I enjoy my work most, which is getting everything completed on time, and delivering what was expected of me, whether it is reports, forecasts, etc.
Pros: Good financial compensation, teams come together when working, good customer relationships
Cons: Long working hours, you are just another person woking, you get overlooked by seniors, you have to apply for promotions

To be a good leader
Coal mining, underground sector and plant Relationship with the Company was very good I learn a lot , how be a manager, priorotise , descipline, and self motivated also learn how to do time Manangement Production is the key Safety coal Safety always all the way Make sure we do profit Availability of all equipment must be 95% to reach our target and profit to Value the Company also compliy to mission statement and values

My typical day at includes stakeholder management, communications and community development. I support Business units and mega projects. I enjoy my work because every day is different and the challenges of working with different stakeholders and various service providers.

Workaholic
I find it extremely satisfying to have a job completed well. I work well as a team player and am also comfortable with working on my own. I found both of these at Matla Coal, in the plant. My seniors take pride in their leadership and is very supportive. Some of the other areas that we require support from might not always pull their weght, however we as a team find ways to work around that or get it resolved quickly
Pros: I consider myself to be confident and reliable. I have good communication and customer service skills and effective leadership qualities as well as working hard in a team. I take pride in my work, strive to exceed my set goals and work well under pressure. I have the ability to prioritise, and take control of situations at my own initiative. I am keen to gain knowledge and experience and accept any challenge with open arms.

I am a team leader and work well with others. I have excellent writing skills. Very good in negotiating and establishing relations with stakeholders. I love big projects because of the adrenalin, short time to implement strategy and producing great results. Routines bores me. My days at work should be a roller-coaster. I love my work even though I deal with various stakeholders with different needs and expectations.

Good learning opportunity and a great personal development areas
as an occupational hygiene assistant in the mining industry, what i do is basically monitoring,inspection and evaluation of the work environment ,report writing and education and training of occurring occupational hygiene stressors. therefore i work hand in hand with the entire departments of the mine for occupational hygiene monitoring. my relationship with the co-workers is a good working relationship we work hand in hand to get the job done. i have learned that working with others and having a good relationship with them is a good way to learn different areas of a place and complete a task much easier. i enjoy the working environment all together its a lovely experience the challenge comes with having to convince employees on the importance of motoring their exposure in the work environment.
