I did not enjoy the culture within Deloitte
NDeloitte is honestly the pits of the pits, there is no work life balance. as a senior you basically do not have a life and you always need to avail yourself even if a manager calls on a saturday, the remuneration package is trash as well. trainees in other industries get oaid much better than what trainees earn your here, HR is never on your side and no one really cares of your mental health overall I wouldn't suggest that anyone join Deloitte because most trainees are not happy with the compay.

The company seem to care more about the work delivery than its people . The working hours are too long , there is no work life balances, the Human Resources needs to be looked into because there are too many processes leading to employees working excessive hours.

I currently manage multiple clients. I handle day to day Sars queries, monthly compliance deadlines, assist with audit accrual reviews. I work alone most of the time but report to multiple directors. I'm a self starter. I have multiple juniors reporting to me as well. I enjoy working with different clients because I get exposure to multiple industries with different transactions. In our work environment we are required to be technically strong which I enjoy. However the challenge with consulting is we never have downtime. It's constant deadlines almost every week which take away from having a balanced life.
Pros: My role always challenges me to keep abreast with current tax changes and interact with multiple transactions

Ultimate exposure in all industries
There are great opportunities to grow in Deloitte. A typical work day at work will be to review audit reports that will be presented to the Chief Audit Executives. I most enjoy being exposed to different project you take away something at the end of each project, you master the art of leadership, versatile teams and being a prudent leader.
Pros: I am now a Manager in Operational Risk, i have been proted every year with 6 years. I am recognised as one of To talent within Deloitte.
Cons: Due running multiple projects at once, its a norm that you work over time and long hours to achieve quality results.

Dear Sir/Madam
I have worked for +15 at Deloitte and have experience a lot. I have learnt : Working independently Working without supervision Work within the people Deloitte way, where you assist others with their tasks experience working with different cultural people Putting myself at other people's shoes Not to take anything Personal Having open conversation with others.

Excellent learning curve
Typical work day looks at data analysis and providing leadership advisory solutions to external clients, Ive learnt a great lot in the past three years but the travelling and odd work hours have been difficult to dela with.
Pros: Flexible work hours if not on projects
Cons: Difficult getting promotions
