There is equity behind the brand but not much support on individual personal development. There is a rigid set of views with little room for adaptability. There is a value of flexibility set but actually put this flexibility into practice is sometimes an issue.

Working at DT

xfThe company is ok - people are nice. The pay is little and a lot of corporate red tape. They are accommodating to a point. Cannot fault the niceness of the peoplestaff.

Dear Sir/Madam

I have worked for +15 at Deloitte and have experience a lot. I have learnt : Working independently Working without supervision Work within the people Deloitte way, where you assist others with their tasks experience working with different cultural people Putting myself at other people's shoes Not to take anything Personal Having open conversation with others.

Excellent learning curve

Typical work day looks at data analysis and providing leadership advisory solutions to external clients, Ive learnt a great lot in the past three years but the travelling and odd work hours have been difficult to dela with.

Pros: Flexible work hours if not on projects
Cons: Difficult getting promotions

6 Years at Deloitte

Great learning curve in early years; abundant opportunities for travel before department I was in was restructure; relatively easy to move around and shape your own career; salary is not on par with the market

Not much upward movement available

This employer expects a lot for what they pay; opportunities for upward mobility are limited, and employees tend to need to look outside for career growth opportunities.

Pros: You probably won't get bored
Cons: Extremely long days and not much bonus potential / not transparent about remuneration
