My Journey to significance

Working at Anglo American , has been an amazing journey. excellent work ethics, excellent team structures and the best business improvements in the world. Working with people is the greatest attributes of who I am as a person. I love people, I believe each person has a story, which defines a persons character. which is why I always get to know my team and understand their backgrounds to build our relationships. With the recent tragedy in my life, I learnt that tomorrow is not promised and love like you never loved, make peace with all people and live a true life to yourself and others. I enjoy learning he different process on each site at Anglo American. And I always look forward to learning something new at every process site I attend.

Experienced laboratory manager in the mining industry

The company is part of the technical function of AngloAmerican and plays a bigger role in ensuring that Anglo operation improve their bottom line through technical improvement of the operations

Excellent working enviroment and training they provide

A typical word day at my current work place is fine although there are days where you feel like you are being treated unfairly but with me being here I have learnt a lot about finance and that working as a team is very important in cooperate industry .I have a good relationship with my co workers and my boss , I enjoy working with my team because they very supportive , challenges I have faced in the work place was inequality and criticism.

Hardworking and results focused.

I am an innovative, self-motivated & results-oriented professional with 12 years of work experience in the financial sector and mining. My career started through the Bank SETA learnership programme at ABSA where I was employed as an Assistant Private Banker. After completing the programme I secured a permanent position within the bank and later joined the Absa Business Bank MIS and Business Intelligence team. I am currently contracting as a Project Manager in Anglo American Global IM. In this role, I manage the project scope, contract qualified resources to deliver projects’ mandate at different mining operations, manage projects’ CAPEX budget, cash flow forecasting and measurements.

Great experience

Every day at work is new... A new experience everyday.. I love it. I meet n new person everyday.. I've learnt how to solve problems on my own. Every challenge I face is an opportunity to learn. That's what I love most. The best part is that I get to overcome all these challenges everyday..

Pros: Great place to work.. Beautiful set of rules and procedures
Cons: They execution of all the things they've set in place is less then poor... They don't communicate in a fair and proper manner

I have a very good working relationship with co-workers

Tshabalala is an individual who has pillared himself in the Ventilation & Occupational hygiene of the mining industry in South Africa. I am currently working for Modikwa Platinum mine as Ventilation and occupational hygiene engineering Superintendent since 25 March 2019 to 31 July 2019 I am on a fixed term contract. As a person I have excellent interpersonal skills, always motivated to be at my best performance, reliable and I am very Passionate about what I do as a VOHE professional.

Good and very professional

I would like to join the company and fulfil my dreams and bring more ideas and inspiration towards people in workplace. I can be a team leader and be consistent and be good to everyone and everything. Im smart and good intelligent and humble. I'm a qualified Occupational health and safety officer and still doing Project management i want gain more experience
