Great experience
To work at Transnet is a great experience and I learn a lot in terms of communication because I communicate with a lot of people during my shift e.g. maneger, supervisors, machine drivers and also department of planning by communicate with all of them I will run with no difficulties and meet my target, but it's challenging when machines breakdowns because I'm no going to meet my target.
Pros: good opportunity
Cons: long working hour's but very enjoyable

Good communication
If you have good communication skill it makes it easier for to work with other people, building the company and sharing ideas that can be useful to the growth of the company. It teaches you to be humble and respect others with good attitude toward other people.

Excellent working experience
As a regional operations manager my day start by engaging with the client,discuss their plans for the day, week, month and year & review their demand vs our supply. After meet with my team, review our performance against clients demand.Also identify potential risks and put preventative plans to mitigate them. I had a good relationship with my colleagues it was based on honesty ,integrity and good work ethic.I have learnt how to manage a multi million business,working under pressure,project management and managing and motivating a diverse group of people to have a common vision.I enjoyed mentoring and coaching my team where some were previously shy and did not believe in their inner abilities but after they became strong and exceptional leaders.The most challenging aspect would be short supply of raw material where a sole supplier is not coping with our demand and we are not allowed to buy from other suppliers.

Excellent learning curve
Was good with colleagues and always promoting good communication. Do reports, conference, meetings, and supervise depot. I like to lead and help people. All staff reporting to me I was doing their training and KPI. My challenge was when clients have problems that we have breakdown and we can't meet their target, but the good thing was that we have to arrange with them for both our benefits,

I'm a hard worker
At my work I'm doing requisition on SAP system, doing contract,timesheet, emails, scanning, faxing, falling. Friendly person who like to help me know others, who like to share ideas with somebody else. Things that I learn my ideas are not mine but I to share to others or when the manager is addressing the work to I must'nt say this is not my job but I've to it serious. Is the challenges that are always coming every day. Most challenge it's when my manager send me to site and addressed employees that they won't get paid for this month they going to it end of this month because they just pushing the month.

Growth
Growth is needed in the organization for employees to gain knowledge. Bursaries are always there too but the challenge is moving from the current position but it is a good company to work for.

Have shaped and cultivated my overall career path
I'd rather not provide a review. Thepreviousleaders were exactly that,mentors, leaders, influencers. The urrent leadership has no regard for employees and that's very sad.
