I love working at my job

my work place is a nice working environment where the colleagues work well with each other. I have learnt how to work well with people because my family does not consist of to many people. I enjoy being able to fix people queries at work knowing that some one is pleased with the services I give them

Tellkom was a excellent company to work for through connecting with customers

Working for Telkom for 25 years I have been in various divisions with great opportunities. For the past 8 years I developed in to a devoted leader. Every day is a new challenge. Punctuality is very important in Telkom, especially where client service is involved. Teamwork was the focus point with my colleges and subordinates. These close-knit relationships motivate employees in parallel and align the team to work harder, cooperate and be supportive of one another. Efficiency and Quality in any project, financial report, analysis etc is of almost important. Working for a company such as Telkom with strict deadlines taught me how to be self-disciplined. I learned to be detail-oriented and to think three steps ahead about what I would be asked. My biggest challenge was being part of the pilot when Telkom Mobile (8ta) was implemented. There was nothing in place. I was thrilled to search for solutions and also been when the new SAP version was introduced.

Learning curve

I think it was a learning curve. I was happy to work in that department, I think now is time to move on because there is no room for improvement for me.I feel like I have reached the ceiling in that position I am in now. I would like to explore my skills and knowledge to do something different than that of what I am doing right now.

Excellent learning opportunity

Its a busy and very hectic environment, calls all day long. I have a good relationship with my co-workers. I have learnt a lot in terms of systems, customer services. I enjoy working and assist people/clients with issues and making sure that I resolve the issue and clients happy at all times. Challenging aspects - its when you come across an angry clients who is shouting and doesn't want to listen to anything you say.

Team Management and people development to perform

Activities are more on providing reports and presentations to EXCO on progress on performance against targets - Liaising with business units on mitigation factors on how to achieve targets. The environment is fast paced and dynamic and is relationships are meaningful and full of support as we are working towards a common goal to reach targets for all to be rewarded. What I have learned is mindfulness towards team members and develop an support so that the environment is conducive to deliver business results. I enjoy Fridays as it is more relaxed by entertaining customers

Had a good experience.

Telkom is great company to work for. I've learned a lot from the and gain a good experience when it comes to customer services. I've learned how to handle different customers in all different situations and how to sell my company even in difficult situations that came across.

Very fast paced environment

Telecom is a very fast paced industry as it brings a lot of competition to it's competitors, it is an industry where by if grows everyday. I'm dealing with mobile and products. Fixed line, LTE and Fibre. Best regards Tupelo 0747083163

Opportunity for Growth

At clientele i was nominated as team player and or the year and i have only been working with them for 9 month, i am also thankful of the space i receive to be able to share my knowledge with my team members and being able to them to shaping their testing skills and also in return helped me to shaping my testing skills.

Great way to improve networking skills and problem solving abilities

In my year at this company, I’ve learned to improve my listening skills due to the fact that people approach the same situation in different ways. I’ve learned to be more patient as customer service is not an easy industry to be in. But I loved every minute of it and I need to grow into my marketing career
