Good company.

Being in this company for 18 years ,i have achieved a lot.in terms of job expirience,planning skills,computer skills,supervisory skills as well as team work. internally communcation courses. i enjoy working with internal as well as external customers,solve customer problems as well as escallations.

Qualified technician

-installing ADSL and normal lines -fault finding and fixing -dealing customers -I get fulfillment when the client is happy about receiving the dialing tone and getting internet service -challenge is not getting access to the network, being chased away by customers who reported the faulty line and then realised he/she didn't plug it, climbing the ladder at 44yrs

I have an excellent working relationship across all levels in the division.

The company has over 10000 employees across numerous divisions. Ans an operations manager , one has to see to the learning and development aspect of your team in order to keep them motivated and in turn to improve their performance levels.

Tellkom was a excellent company to work for through connecting with customers

Working for Telkom for 25 years I have been in various divisions with great opportunities. For the past 8 years I developed in to a devoted leader. Every day is a new challenge. Punctuality is very important in Telkom, especially where client service is involved. Teamwork was the focus point with my colleges and subordinates. These close-knit relationships motivate employees in parallel and align the team to work harder, cooperate and be supportive of one another. Efficiency and Quality in any project, financial report, analysis etc is of almost important. Working for a company such as Telkom with strict deadlines taught me how to be self-disciplined. I learned to be detail-oriented and to think three steps ahead about what I would be asked. My biggest challenge was being part of the pilot when Telkom Mobile (8ta) was implemented. There was nothing in place. I was thrilled to search for solutions and also been when the new SAP version was introduced.

Can learn a lot about all the products and services

Worked from 8-17h00 7 days a week. Scanning of all applications processed previous day.Stock take, banking, startup meetings, then face to face customer care for new applications or changes to services. Worked well in a team and was always willing to help. It is important to have a good relationship wit all workers. Wearing a uniform makes you feel part of the company and proud of yourself. The most challenging aspects is that we are target driven.

10-13years vital experience

i take my work very seriously, would like to grow at what i do, i have learned in all ,years of experience to learn and grow in the company, bring my skill to my employer and try to make the company to benefit and not only to enrich myself but the company as well. Punctuality, hard-working, innovation, respect your co-workers, multi-task, learn to do your decision independently and dependently.

Telephones skills, emails,able to handle high calls volume and time management in customer service

I have learned that customer is always right, I also have learned how to handle an irate or angry customer, skilled in internet connections, such as broadband setup , emails setting, team work and contributions within the team, helping the co-worker, I have typing skills , I have learned to be patient and helpful and try to achieve the company's goal, I having a good relationships with co-workers , avoiding late coming and absenteeism and be a good performer to the company.
