Excellent learning and discipline
Shoprite its a wonderful company that gives people alot of opportunities and it has a good motivation,discipline and learning especially if u really like learning you can learn alot of thing within shoprite.like my self I've learned lot of things but I now think its time for me to learn different things and grow my knowledge. I have learned about discipline in Shoprite that as a person you must be discipline in order to discipline others when you are discipline you become a great leader and u become a good example inside the company

Excellent learning curve
Working for Shoprite was the most challenging and at the same time funny. Iam running the biggest store in our region worth 1920 sqm with more than 320 employees including permanents and parttime....with 4 Assistant Managers and 1 junior manger and 5 trainees. Running a R180m turnover store wasn't easy but with good communication and descipline between manahent and stuff made it a huge success. We had one aim or sloggan in our company or store that "no customer may leave our store unhappy", we must always go an extra mile to please our customers as they are the ones who's paying us.

Great experience
In my current company it is a very challenging position to be a scanning clerk. There are times were by you some how argue with a customer eg. complaining about prices are on promotion but have not change in the system. It is also very much exiting experience interacting with different cultures. Learning how to calm an angry customer and also team work. In my position team work is priority because you have to also get some ideas from your co-workers. What I have learnt is that the customer service has to be good and that we learn every day.

Completing my diploma in law
The work we did was to check invoices and also pack the stock on a daily basis. I had good relationship with everyone I work with from management to my co workers. I learn more to check stock you must vigilant all the time because the number may not correspond with what you have on the paper. the most challenging this was to receive too much stock as it requires full concentration and long hours of work.
Pros: being promoted to check stock from a packer
Cons: working long hours to finish receiving stock on busy days
