Loving what I do

I train the Imperial Retail Logistics Division on all HR Related matters, and Warehouse systems which I enjoy The relationship with my colleagues is professional, and I treat all employees the same during training. I have learned that being humble and approachable leads to learning from colleagues. I enjoy seeing colleagues progressing in their careers and loving the jobs they currently do, which is my job to do. Having to work with a lot of papers, administration work is very challenging for me.

hi its a great pleasure to work in the environment where every one treat each other in a disciplined manner because the working environment. its a place where we show up our skills and learn from each other like were I used to work imperial retail logistics every one is as friendly as if he is not at work so a working place should be goal focoused

Good driver

Offload truck in the mornings Book.in the daily trucks Start picking the STOCK for the next day delivering Make sure STOCK is not expire before going out to the customers Make sure all the invoices is.their Make.sure trucks is being check proper

Self taught , communication,

 Prioritize daily schedule and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels  Work closely with Transportation and Customer Service teams to evaluate truck loads, fill expedite request, and/or change routing  Work closely with Inventory teams to ensure inventory integrity when replacement product is needed to fill an order  Work closed with 3PL and Special Handling team to ensure orders are shipped timely  Monitor and respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner  Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned  Releasing work from proteus to SAP  Replenishment  Monitoring pick rates for pickers  Timeous completion  Issuing picking slip

I have learned how to comunicate with the customers and how to planning

I would also bring to your position and company an ability to not only work hard, but also identify areas where performance improvement is needed. On top of this I have considerable experience in the fields of supervision and management for the past five years. I have worked for Imperial Retail logistics as a picker, forklift driver, admin clerk, fleet controller and dispatch controller with my present employer my achievements range from setting up a good work environment, right through to overseeing the warehouse, I would also like you to know that I work well with other people and consider myself to be a strong communicator, presenter and listener.

Pros: i have learned a lot from imperial as i have learned to be the good problem solver, how to communicate with the customers as well as employees
Cons: i am able to work over time as one time i was force to about 30 hours as we were counting the stock as the company ask me i comitted myself to do it until all the stock is balanced

It was a good company they treated us well

I had a great tym working there, the staff was good to us even the call centre staff they treated us like family. We worked very hard but as a team and we respected each other. We sometimes haf long trips which required us to sleep outside of durban, we also had overtime which paid us well. What i learnt from the job is that when ever you are at work you must make sure that you meet all the deadlines and finish all the tasks for the day, before dojjing or fooling around. The most challenging thing was when you didnt finish all your stops for the day and you come back to the depot with stock, and you must explain yourself to the manager.

Good learning experience

It was nice experience working at imperial everything was good and the relationship with the co-workers nice one of the nicer thing that was motivation for many of us.

20 years experience in Warehouse and Disrtribution

I am the logistics manager for a warehouse with 13747 storage bins and warehouse size 35000Sq Mtrs. Fleets size = 80. The logistics department is at the center of the entire ops. I am mostly cost driven and focus mainly on saving cost and cost recoveries. The most challenging aspect of my job is managing stress because this is a very stressful environment.

Pros: New company so i can apply all what i have learnt and be able to see the fruits.
Cons: New people and new area
