Absa is a awesome company,but due to new policies and Future plans it's no longer the right company for me,i wish to supplement my experience with the correct education that was my goal i made a decade ago My ideal is to get to the root of excelent customer service through life and work experiences and to become goal orientated through the correct path and education Absa provided the learning curve i needed to understand and to identify my next goal I enjoyed absa because it was a true client invironment And the people were friendly and professional

Limited Diversity
When I look at ABSA, I do see diversity. But diversity on different levels. You'll find a certain group on a certain level within the company. Certain groups will never escalate while other groups, well, the sky is the limit for them. I've been working for ABSA for a while now and I've seen this with my own eyes

It was an awesome learning experience
At the moment I am currently unemployed,but I quiet enjoyed the time I worked at Absa as that was my first meaningful job.I learnt alot in that company because it enabled me to gain skills I did not have previously such as face to face selling and customer interaction and how to identify potetial markets that can be added within the company.
Pros: Great career opportunity

Great exposure to business management and various products
I have built my business units strategy aligned to the company objectives. The key things I address in my strategy are always: Company (This relates to any financial impact in the business. Profitability and increased revenue are top of mind. Manage an effective sales team by closely driving performance and sales targets. Be visible to all opportunities and potential new business. I am not afraid to set high targets but be close enough to ensure we track regularly and address shortfalls immediately). Customer (To ensure we differentiate our service offering to our competitors and to build relationships and revenue with profitable clients and do not maintain unprofitable clients). Staff – (To have the best people for the job. To lead by example, improve productivity, address non-performance. Manage an effective Cost to Income ratio in the business).

Potential for growth
absa is a good company, it gets busy , but sometimes quiet. you have to have a good and strong relationship with your colleagues so that smooth operations are guaranteed. you do not have to trust anybody especially when you work with money. dealing with clients its a challenge on its own, but you have to be vigilant and on the ball.

Productive , hard working for the beneficial of the company
Being Productive and multi skilled, hardworking I can be the best candidate for this post, what I enjoy most is to see the company making a good profit/income and tbe employees working together as a team and their performance being outstanding and I also like a individual who is willing multi skill and in the Company

i strive for excellence and hard working and learning more to upskill myself and improve - I work to provide good customer services - I am a team player and try to bring the best out of my fellow colleagues - I have learnt on how to service the customers and improve how banking works - team building and having challenges to resolve and having session where we share best practice - having to deal with angry clients and the volumes of month end due to us being a financial institution. -

analytically strong, share knowledge, engagement with other teams, stakeholders, etc is very profession. very responsible and takes initiatives. provide advise and guideline to developers, testing team and business
