It is my goal to extensively apply my Project, Program and Business Management knowledge to successfully assist an organisation in reaching its envisaged goals and to ensure a competitive advantage for the organisation. I am innovative by nature, which has provided me with successful leadership qualities in the form of motivational, communication and teambuilding skills. I am confident that this form of maturity and commitment will make me an appropriate candidate for any future opportunities that arise. I have acquired a passion for fast paced, highly driven environments. Being interested in positions where my natural people skills can be used effectively. Motivating people to achieve a shared objective, whilst we delight our customer, would be an ideal environment for me to excel in. I am naturally independent, a results driven individual, and enjoy travelling. I am therefore prepared to relocate, or manage projects in any geographical location.

Regulatory and Legal compliance

The Regulatory Affairs Department at Vodacom is constituted by a total of 9 employees who are all responsible for providing advice to the company on matters ranging from Economic Regulation, Market Regulation, Technical Regulation, Regulatory Law and Compliance. Roles and responsibilities are divided according to areas of responsibility. Department characterised by good and open working relationship with co workers and l am able to interact at all levels. One thing that l have learnt relates to open dialogue, consultation and engagement with co workers to seek their views on several issues. At the same time there is a need to take full ownership of the advice rendered. What l enjoy the most about my job is that there are no boundaries as l am allowed to think out of the box and provide solutions to matters at hand. There are several challenges associated with my work: - the extra hours to get the job done - convincing senior management team to adopt a less popular view

Be brave and try harder

I have been with the company for 2006, started as a Call centre agent , moved to Accounts Call Centre als as a Corporate constant dealing with all corporate accounts like SAB ,Absa , SAPS . I 2008 i moved to Back Office as an Escalation agent

Learning to adapt and face challenges head on

Working with a team as team to achieve a common goal which is to assist customers right the first time Getting along with your team members makes it to work inn a callcentre enviroment since your teammates are also your support system which makes the job easier especially when dealing with those challenging queries. Having to deal with customers over the phone can be a challenge especially those who are'nt familiar with the product they are using since you're unable to demonstrate to them and that's where I've learnt to be patient and work with them to get the query resolved and when all is done I feel proud that I have taught them how to resolved the problem on their own

Excellent Learning Curve. Oportunity to climb the copoarate ladder

A typical work day: Driving the department and divisional stratey through communucation with various stakeholder levels in the company. Relationship with co-workers: Have a sound relationship with co workers which is beneficial as it assist in cutting through red tape and asssits in with the delivery and completion of tasks timeously. What I have learnt: I have learnt that it take team work in order to deliver on the required objectives. A manager needs to build a good work relationship with staff in order to obtain the best performance output from them. Management means balancing work performance with staff personal goals. What I enjoy most: The interaction with various stakeholswr in the organisation. Being able to deliver a good product or service based on the strategy initiated. The most challenging aspects of the job is aligning other department startegy with your own as buget and resources remain and constraint. Regards Craig Christian

Excellent customer services

A typical work day at this company is quite fast paced so i have to be on my feet . my relatinship with co - workers are good as we all get along and work as a team . i have learnt great customer service skills as well as administrative duties as well as manager duties. i enjoy mostly helping others as it has become a real passion of mine . the most challenging aspects are stock availability and customer relations as we are now and then out of stock that customers seek.

Cons: hardly any off days .

Hard worker

On a typical work day, I arrive at work before time to plan and prepare myself for my day. I'm easy to get along with and I find it very easy to make to work with people whether it be familiar or unfamiliar people. I've learnt how to engage with people and to just randomly and openly concersate with unfamiliar people, just to break the awkwardness and make them feel like they speaking to an old friend. I enjoy getting my work done and what I enjoy most is when my day goes accordingly as to what I planned it to be before it has actually began. The most challenging aspects of my job is when I have to just accept being insulted and I'll treated by customers.

New challenges

I work a 08:00 - 17:00 job but in other instances I am required to extend working hours in order to meet deadlines I have a good working relationship with co-workers and executive management. On a constant basis I am given the opportunity to appear and present my findings to Executive Management Working at Vodacom has helped me to harness my compliance, negotiation, presentation and legal writing skills What I enjoy with my job is that the telecommunications sector is always revolving and requires me to undertake research in order to keep abreast with technology changes and to advise business on how best to deal with those changes The long working hours which are necessitated by the need to meet deadlines may sometimes have an effect on the work life balance with the effect that in other instances I have to dedicate time towards my job
