My job intails the below: I learned dealing with clients and keeping them happy on a daily bases. Learning in detail the way freight business works,including the import and export trades of logistics field. And also keeping compliance of the company in mind by learning how to balance business ethics and customer satisfaction. We also exposed to the forex side of the business (market analysing )

Adiquate learner well prepared

I can operate any windows application at all levels with easy.curently studying RE5 I also have good communication skills and experience in both banking,IT windows software specialist & Media consultant services. Well useage of my capabilities logically and analytical can work under pressure on any situation. Also willing to work nights or public holidays as am used to it.more can be provided on request thank you!

Excellent learning experience and expose to different business units.

I am currently working as ETL Analyst /developer; I have worked with few Data warehousing tools like Datastage and Teradata, Mainframe, TWS etc. Liaise with business units on systems/ process enhancements, translating business requirements. Produce feasibility reports and drawing up testing schedules. I work well with others. I am capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines. I learn at an excellent pace and I am ready to face new challenges and welcome them as a test of my abilities.

Pros: Great working environment and culture.
Cons: I have been with the company for too long and i believe change will be great in order for me to grow and learn more challenges.

Best company to work for look after their staff and clients

doing daily reports. making sure that team knows what is excepted of them daily, giving excellent customer experience , delivery on our daily commitments . had to learn listening skills very important, each and every interaction is totally different ,especially when it comes to customers queries, complaints and concerns. i mostly enjoyed working with people daily different customers and queries to resolve .making sure that my Team knows and understand the important of making clients feel as your number one proprietary when you interact with them.

Pros: growth in the company was and is unbelievable , moved to new positions with in 12months
Cons: staffs attitude and dedications towards work and clients

Growth and development

Standard bank is great company to work for. And I have been a consultant for the past 4 years. I worked 170 hrs per month but normally exceeded my working hours due to follow ups and some other administrative duties. I used to have a great relationship with all my colleagues and manager, we were one. I have learned a lot in short space of time, I was even assisting the prestige banking when the prestige banker is off sick or on leave. What I enjoyed mostly is to closely with my line manager as she taught me a lot on how to grab opportunities and growing yourself as individual within the organisation. The most challenging aspect were just late lunches when we very busy and no one could relief us or assist us.

Pros: Learning curve and taking a different role to learn more about other entities.
Cons: Taking late lunch

Being a Quality Assurance Consultant at Standardbank

My day to day Job entails me listening to Outbound Sales calls done by our Sales team in order to assess the quality of calls and identify any risk and compliance gaps on those calls. Should there be any Risk or Compliance gaps identified, a report for coaching is sent out and client is contacted in order to correct the information provided. I work well with my team as I have an open door policy where my team has access to reaching me for assistance or guidance on what they might not be sure off. I engaged with them by having weekly connect sessions in order to iron out obstacles. What I have learned in my roles people skills, communication and building on relationships is very importance and if you don't have that then you wont survive in the role. What Is challenging is having to deal with agents that constantly chase after numbers instead of quality of the call however training and coaching becomes a continuous intervention with those particular individuals.

Pros: Grown and development is vital to any employee therefore everyone is working towards improving themselves and getting on the next level in terms of their careers
Cons: Working weekends is not an option unless its urgent matters that requires your attention

Being a team player

*having a target for the day making sure you pay attention and reach the target AND EXCEED IT *working in teams making sure you understand other people and being able to corporate with the teams. *being proactive all the time. *never to look down on other people and never tell yourself that you are not perfect for a certain thing *being a team leader of your own team ,its difficult to manage someone having to understand different people characters

Pros: making sure customer's FICA is in order
Cons: the longest hours i have was 13 hours

working at standard bank like working in the environment of lot of people my relationship Is very good with co-worker working as team learn a lot from deferent department what I love we don't do one thing we learn everyday new things working as team dealing with fraud is very challenging as special online fraud

I have learnt to put customer as my first priority because i am here to deliver good services.

I believe I can be an asset to the company working with the team towards achieving the vision and goals set by management. I am friendly person and open minded in learning new things in my industry and continuous personal improvement in my work. i know first hand about working in a team , thus I will have no problem to embrace the culture of the company or working with people for the improvement of the business. if given this opportunity I will work hard and effectively to meet the needs of customers, understand the systems and the company culture. I enjoy team work a lot and make sure that customers have trust on me. my relationship with my co -workers is good because if you don't understand anything especially the related work you have to ask because we are here to help one another and we are team.

Pros: it is not difficult because we are familys
Cons: long working hours i enjoy most becasue even if i ma off i am going to working to check my mail and see if i have any outstanding or quiries so that i can do follow ups with clients

Good for growth and discipline

For me as a typical day a work is when I processed so many deposits and withdrawal on a single day,we work different shifts so the relationship with co-workers is minimal,Since working for the bank I've learnt that banks are making to much money over people debts and they encourage debts from people,I enjoy facing people and hear their views and some encouraging you to be more in your life,however I'm not passionate about banking.What challenging is to convince customers to be in debt for the bank to make more profit.

Cons: Working shifs and doing one thing
