Great to learn and grow

typical work day would be to re-broke clients, up sell policies, grow the existing portfolio . deal with claims, customer debit orders. customer policy endorsements. source new business. customer retentions I have a clos relationship with co workers and learn for the life advisers I enjoy the most working with high net worth clients

Yes

It's a job that's need a concentration, and commitment, I'm also working with different people from different backgrounds. Sometimes I get challenges and pressure when I can't get appointment of new clients but it's need patience

Pros: I don't think there is a great opportunity for promotion
Cons: 8-4 daily

Capturing accurate & efficient data Process applications SARS+ Logbooks Case Submissions Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Power Point, Microsoft Office Publisher and Customer Services.

I have learneda lot, it has been a wonderful journey and my confidence has grown

It is a wonderful and pleasant company to work for, the level of work standard, morals and ethics is visible. All stakeholders (internal and external) are good to work with, the is mutual understanding and respect in all aspects. I have learnt the importance of transparency, effective communication, importance of meeting deadlines, time management, team work, independence, different cultures, the importance of interpersonal skills,conflict management and many more. The challenging aspects in adapting to the consent change and dealing with certain barriers(learning new systems). However what I enjoy the most is delivery a satisfying service to my senior managers and going the extra mile. I value the level of support and spirit of togetherness (team work).

I love working with people as they teach you a different experience

My typical work day, would be receiving Pension Queries, clients who are mainly lost and looking for a specific place, clients who are looking for a job, clients who are looking for donations, clients who have meeting in the building, clients who are here on Training for the day at our training facilities, clients who are coming for interviews ect……. The list goes on. I have a brilliant relationship with my co- workers as we work well as a team and we rely on each other to give a satisfactory service. I have learnt to be more patient while dealing with clients and also I have learnt to put my own personal worries aside once I’m in the office. I mostly enjoy spending time with my co-worker during lunch, as it is fun to be with them. Making sure the client is satisfied with our service because making the client understand on the procedures and Policies of how the company works can really be difficult sometimes, but for me that is the most challenging part.

Pros: You get perfomance bonus if you get high KPA points
Cons: Overtime hours are not paid for

Exellent learning curve

generating my own leads it was so difficult even finding sources,but coming to commission it was so fantastic even going out on the team buildings it was so motivating,working environment was so friendly and,i have learned how to get my own sources.

Great sales experience

I had a great experience in sales and marketing. My whole year with the sanlam group was overwhelming and unforgettable. The manager there was very supportive and his mentoring skills were great. The challenging part of my job was having to sell the same products to the same group of people and convincing them to join your policy, this was also exciting at some times.

Salary

Well versed and experienced in cus-tomer services with a Matric qualifi-cation. I also have a Long Term insur-ance certificate NQF Level 4 from Sanlam and lastly an Advertising certificate NQF Level 4 from Imagi-nation Lab. I have been working for more than 7 years in fields of customer services and administration. I have worked as an Accounts Clerk, Call Centre Agent, Claims Assessor
