I have excellent administration skills. I also worked at a retail store so long hours are of effort and I need a change of industry I work in. Was given an opportunity to be an office Manager on my current job which is worked excellently. With experience in product knowledge, data capture, telephone skills setting appointments and working under a commission based industry

A day in my life
I work as self employed. I train at Companies like Sanlam and found it great as i get ti know new people every day. I have to be acredited by Service andcMict Seta . i train computers at Creative Minds and i love it becausec i have to keep my Microsoft skills up to date. I compile training manuals and use the unit standards to guide me. I work great with the CEO's and managers and they know that im always just a phone call away for guidance. The best if my work is when i do coaching and i can see and feel that i have made a difference.
Pros: I work self employed. This gives me the opportunity to present training at different companies. This has given me the opportunity to learn from different organizations and to have accreditation at more than one SETA.
Cons: I work quite long hours and have to promote myself everytime from the start at each company

Everything was good but the amoun't was not fulfill my needs
Working is good and the relationship between I and my collleagues is perfect. I learned that when you are at working industry forget your personal problems but focus on your work and also I learn to share with people if there's a need to do that. And there are other things that i have noticed and I'm willing to ignore is time waster. I enjoy to be with my colleagues and the things that are challenges is when you are selling the product to the client and the client don't trust you at all then you ending up not selling any product a day.

Skills developed
It is a very wonderful environment to work at and great team at death claims, I have learned a lot here, I learned to be a team player, hard work pays a lot here because good performance is the goal, stress tolerance and to work under high volume of pressure. I enjoy my work because we help those in need of funeral assistance. My challenges is that some days we are faced with a lot of claims to process within the service level agreement of paying the claim within 4 hours, so that might be my challenge for me to make sure that I pay valid claims.

A lot can be learned
I assess claims. Make sure that all required documents are received,process all claims on the system amd attached required docs.i have learned a lot about different types of funeral claims,waiting periods etc. I work well with my colleagues and understand each one in their own individual rights. I enjoy being part of a solution hence making sure that i give feedback to our clients any any query sent to us. I am a goal driven individual,focused on my work. Possess self leadership skills. I am a fast learner and i pay attention to detail. I am honest and also adapt easily to change.

Wonderful family company
It is a challenging position that I have taken head on. I have a wonderful relationship with the director however I would like to grow further in my position.

I completed my Business Studies Certificate in 2012 which include Implementing Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008(SHEQ) Safety Health Environmental & Quality Management System, People Management, Project Management, Business Skills, (NEC) Interpret Basic Financial Statements with the University of Limpopo. I also completed an NQF level 5 Certificate for Outcomes-Based Assessment in 2015. I am currently employed by Sanlam Life as their Financial Planner and Advisor. I have completed Financial Planning 1 and 2 (FP1 and FP2) with Financial Planning Academy. I also build and maintain client database. I was appointed as the Employment Equity Manager for North KZN.
