I ENJOYED THE CHALLENGE

Daily contact with staff, sales reporting, sales vs budget, implementation of ideas to achieve budgets, enjoyed the interaction with staff and sharing ideas and making them feel part of the success. i enjoyed the interaction with staff in the other African countries, sharing ideas and getting a better understanding of how they see the world. Humbled and grateful to have been able to be involved.

Pros: the travelling to other countries, meeting people from so many different walks of life. making an impact
Cons: was not given a chance to really make a significant impact. Being retrenched

No opportunities

There is not any challenge laid down on a daily basis so I created my own challenges to ensure that targets are met and that the company can achieve revenue every month

Learnt a great deal especially in executive management

It was a very demanding job and as the director of flight operations I had to be available 24 hours a day. I was in charge of the company flight training school , liasing with the Civil Aviation Authority on behalf of the company all the while running flight operations for the fire fighting division and charter company. I was also second in charge to the CEO and handled the entire budget and was the company chief pilot. Each season I would check and administer 8 flying bases.

Pros: Opportunity to learn a great deal.
Cons: Extremely long hours no time off. Only 4 days leave in two years.

I am a contractor at Mondelez where i was retrenched 2014. this department will be outsourced

I have been a payroll administrator since 2002, I have extensive knowledge in payroll and reconciliations, projects, Benefits admin. And a little knowledge in HR. I have studied Payroll HR diploma with SAQA through Paywell. I have worked on Paywell, Unique and have been on VIP since 2007. I work well with people, I get along very well with my piers, I have been called to come and help with projects in my former companies as a contractor. I have worked in the retail and Cash in transit industry before. Before my payroll career I was a receptionist, PA, Administrator, girlfriday.

Pros: Great place to work for company culture is great
Cons: Short staffed therefore long working hours and work life imbalance

Love new challenges and learning

I would love to have an opportunity to any position I may qualify for from PA to executive secretary to site administrations and finance clerk as well as hr or any position you deem fit. Regards Anny Van Aswegen

Excellent company with unlimited opportunities

It was great company that was my second family. I got aling with most of ny co-workers and still have the relationship till today. I have learnt all I know from BP as I started working for them fresh from varsity. I have moved around within the company. Having started in business as Treasury Assistant to being HR Advisor. I have enjoyed my stay at this phenominal company

Pros: Great opportunities & employee educational support. I was given the platform to move around and grab it with both hands
Cons: With my last job/department. You plan and all but mostly your day starts with all unexpected request. I guess, it is understably as we 're in human relations

Excellent learning opportunity. Wonderful Company dynamics.

I am a seasoned Exec PA/ Office Manager. I love systems and processes. Hard working in dynamic work space. High performance culture with strong leadership. Can do attitude a must. Loss of clients in the Media field made it a bit unstable.

DISAPPOINTED

Excited to start with company but being here for 5 months has been more of a nightmare than a pleasure. There is no respect within the whole company and from management side even less. Staff are treated badly and no consideration given to family values and life Very pressurised and mostly unorganised. Im used to a structured environment with management showing appreciation for work done. Sorry this sounds terrible but when one's morals and persona is attacked then it makes it rather difficult to give of your bestr
