Handles pressure well, excellent attention to detail, innovative quality control
I was retrenched from Probuild COnstruction as Finishing Site Agent in Rosebank looking after a 14 story High End REsidential building at R500m and also doing 35 Upmarket Luxury Homes in Bryanston at R7m each. Previous to that I was also a finishing Site Agent for Mota-Engil looking after a R600m project in Sandton on a 24 Story Building with Luxury Apartments and Mixed Retail ranging from R3m to R30m. and a site agent at the Fourways at R2.2 Billion. Before i was a Contracts Manager for GVK looking after 5 buildings @ R100m for WITS in the Braamfontein Precint. Previously I was a Project Manager for 4 years in the Civil and Mechanical Engineering Water and Waste Water Industry. My projects as Project Manager (local and international).I worked for Group Five Building as a Site Agent for 4 years previously, and was head hunted by this company.

Hardworking, quick to learn, stable, wide knowledge base
I am a hard working person, with a wide knowledge base and eager to learn more. Can do anything with my hands but trucks is my passion.. I like teaching people new skills and after so many years in te trade I still like learning new things . Always room for improvement. A work day is not over till the work is done. I like to start early when all is still fresh. If always look for opertunities for improvement in both myself and in my work environment. I am a easy person to talk although I am a introvert. Working as a workshop supervisor on a construction site was a constant challenge with staff changing and keeping track of health and safety regulations and ransport rules when working on a site as well as keeping track of the contractor's need and requirements. It was a whole new learning curve which I embraced.

Long term stability
The Holding Company changed management and it was decided that the company was no longer core to the group. The environment became uncertain to work in

Gibb work environment
To whom it may concern. I have got 28years experience in the Civil Engineering industry, both on the Consultant and contractor side. I work generally 9 hours on site arriving at 06:30 and then another 4-6hours at home completing admin and possible problem solutions and planning the next day. There are quite a few junior and Pr.Eng staff that regularly contact me for practical solutions to theoretical problems they encounter. Every day on site one encounter new problems and interesting issues, hence the few research projects and publications to City of Cape Town. I enjoy the challenges that these provide, as I can arrive to a practical solution very fast. I am well versed in GCC2015, Colto and Fidic. I trust that this brief synopsis will be of assistance.

Really was an excellent learning curve
The company was fairly new, it was a venture into sales. New methods of doing business allowed us to choose the best possible route for us. The environment was very family orientated. We strived to ensure our staff were happy. Money does mak people funny!!! The staff started doing fraudulent sales and faking comm which eventually left us running a loss and the CEO decided to close down.
Pros: There were only pros, depends which way you look at the challenge you're facing.
