The position made me stronger

Outsurance is one company that knows how to work hard but also play hard as company. on a typical work day come in for morning meetings, when are suppose to work you do so intensly. co-workers are your family we helped each other and supported eachother. I have learned to handle objections and build raport with clients. I enjoyed the marathon days the most, we worked until 8 in the evening but we had fun doing so, challenges and prizes and competitions. the challenges where the travelling hours, and the perfomance based system

Pros: managers and the ceo had no offices which makes it easier to approach them
Cons: long hours, stress of the pbs system

A very busy and noisy environment. Lots of action. Lots of stats and numbers flowing around. Attention to detail. A very casual environment in terms of culture,clothing,etc. You are surrounded by people so yo end up making a lot of friends and well as networking with employees in the various departments. I have gained a lot of knowledge within the Financial Industry. Like how your risk profile is measured, giving correct financial advice. How to capture correct information. How other Insurers work etc. I enjoyed the culture and vibe the most. As well as the incentives we won and also making a clients day by giving them proper insurance as well as educating the masses on how Insurance works. It is a very stressful environment. You are competing daily with about 200 other sales adviser's. The system I worked on is quite complicated and your averages fluctuate on a daily basis. It is a very competitive industry to work in.

High payment Structures

A high performance company which values Respect, awesome Service and profiting a lot. I enjoy most about this company is the atmosphere it has on daily basis. The most challenging aspect of my job is non performers because they cost me heavily coz I lose on bi annual bonus

Great learning curl and experience

I've learnt to work with or within turnaround times. Assisting clients in a timeleous manner. The most interesting I've learnt is turning a query into a sale. The most challenging is retaining a client/ sale that was closed by another advisor. Friendly atmosphere which makes each day a little better

Learn alot about insurance and dealing with different type of people

outsurance is a great company to have worked for , i learned so many skills on all aspects needed to work in the insurance field wonderful working environment, workers come 1st all needs are always met.

Great growth potentiality

To whom it may concern, I love the atmosphere of a sales environment. It's busy and noisy and every day tells a different story. I fit in well because I like change and experiencing something different every day makes it so much more interesting. I get along with all people, Green, Purple and blue. I don't care where you come from I just want to be better than the guy next to me and I wand to have a laugh with him about making more money than him! I have learnt to keep on setting new goals with a higher standard than the one before. With goals in place I stay motivated and positive and focus on the job at hand. I enjoy going to work wondering what premium I would write today! I enjoy pushing to be the first one to close something and smile about it. To stay motivated!

Excellent growth and learning curve

typical day at work includes thoroughly underwriting claims. most of our rejections within the desktop investigations department come from basic policy conditions. One has to pay attention to detail. other rejections reasons such as regular driver and business use can easily be concluded at the desk. paying attention detail also requires great listening skills, with such, you ask the relevant questions to the client, which in most times, the client choose to withdraw the claim as they are aware that you are on to something. i have learnt different ways on how to skin a cat. you can never apply the same method on each claim. this is what i enjoy the most. most challenging part about my job is doing a thorough investigation within my turn around time.

Excellent turn around to my career

Stable relationship with most of my colleagues learnt a lot about the industry in a short period of time If only i had a basic salary I enjoy the environment and the atmosphere of my co-workers tHE THRILL OF NOT KNOWING

Okay place to work

It is a typical commercial industry work place. Growth and development is slow due to the large uptake of lower level.emolyees but the high demand now for upper level experts in higher positions ehich are being brought in from outside the company.
