9am to 5pm the day starts. Depends on the type of project you work on. I first started on an agile project, in which we had only 8 months to deliver whilst based at a client site. As a BA, I had to schedule and host workshops. Had to interact with Subject Matter Experts. Bring together the source,integration and end points users in one room and discuss the system. Was a great learning experience as it challenged me to be a mediator. I learned public speaking, I learned how to listen to individuals and gather correct information. After the workshop, I would go and do further analysis then present it back to our clients and they would approve it. I learned how to deal with stress and time management as we had strict deadlines. Currently I am based at a different client, which is an on going project without a deadline. Service Life cycle. It is a smoother learning experience with less stress.
Pros: You can work flexible hours and also can work from home.
Cons: No skill development in other departments

Excellent learning curve, but horrible treatment to stuff and dismal salary and perks!
Excellent learning curve, but horrible treatment to stuff and dismal salary and perks! junior and entry level stuff is looked down upon. Morale is at its all time low. Race is still an issue. White people get preferential treatment compared to other races. No overtime and no performance bonus. Close to zero benefits. No choice of medical aid, we are all forced to use discovery, and its too expensive compared to the others, and most of us can't afford it!
Pros: Poor opportunity for promotion, always consider candidates from outside the company
Cons: Long standby hours and poor remuneration for the efforts.

Always be an asset to the team
very work\goal oriented , always want to make serve the client is served efficiently and properly. i work great in teams , as i see if all the teams members are doing well shows that the whole team is wining and doing wonderfully well. What i lack another person may have which helps balance work out. i have learnt withholding from people you work with ruins the flow of work, and follow ups are always important. i enjoy appreciation emails ,your "Thank yous" and "Job well done" they motivate. Challenges are undefined goals ,uninterested team members and wrong risk managing.

Company not doing well
Unfortunately the company is not doing well and they will be retrenching 800 folk. The process has already started for the 189. I liaise with the client all day, every day. I'm responsible for my team from a H&Safety perspective, carry out the induction sessions, present safety slides for the client, assist the client with the planning and implementing of Emergency Evacuations, Carry out NOSA Audits, put together safety files. I love dealing with the client and solving issues that arise. I enjoy dealing with my staff, helping them and guiding them as best as I can. The most challenging aspects is trying to obtain budget for external training, so I carry out small internal training sessions
Pros: Great Team Supporting each other / Flexi Hours - I work from 6:30 (get all my paper work done early) can then deal with all clients requests from 9 and can give them my full attention
Cons: Never knowing if you have a job because working from contract to contract / Retrenchments coming up

Been great learning experience
Typical day is doing onsite support and assisting users with applications support on desktops and laptops and network printer support, basic network support doing onsite server room inspections Proud to be part of a great supporting onsite IT team Been involved in the Petrol/Chemical environment workspace field support for 14 yrs and changed to a different Mining environment, the way of work on a new site and new users environment is a great learning experience and the new challenges is an great experience and enjoy the learning and helps to broaden my work experience being in field support everyday has its own challenges to assist the client with application errors or hardware problems that happens

Learning opportunities ang growing withing the industry
A day in BCX is refreshing and the relationship between colleagues is marvelous, I have learnt a lot throughout this years and enrolling in different courses to enhance my skills, I enjoy working long hours and getting the job done as soon as possible, and what challenges me about my job is that each and every day I come across something new and that's good for me because it's part of growing and learning.

Principal Business Consultant Journey.
A typical work day includes reviewing reports, reviewing deadlines the team needs to meet in projects and transitions. Coordinating teams required to meet contractual objectives and monitoring the overall configuration management process. My relationship with co-workers and peers has always been one of a family, friendships and assisting each other. What I have learnt is that understanding contracts and managing 3rd parties in line with the contract is vital in successful management of SLA's in the division. What I enjoy mostly is solving problems that affects multiple business units through coordinating our efforts. The most challenging aspects of the job has been managing and reporting risks that are caused by contracts, escalating business risks to the relevant area and getting buy-in from individuals who have more experience than you do.

I am a shift worker and need to work myself out of it.
• I have been employed at Business connexion for six years as a 1stline network engineer, I am currently contracted to SITA International and I am based at O'Tambo International. My duty is to monitor the network lines for all the airports in South Africa and Africa as a whole. I have recently passed my grade 12 which was a stumbling block to my promotion to higher level and I am eager to further my studies on the field of my profession. If given a chance I promise to do my best.
