I strart each day with having to do a walk about to verify and everything regarding SOP's and GMP; I have got a good working relationship with the workers and assist wherever I can regarding professional and personal issues; I have done a vast amount of training starting in the warehouse as a warehouse assistant to the manufacturing and packing department as a process controller right to the quality assurance as a GMP Compliance Officer where I have done lots of learning including my basic in pharmacy assistant. I enjoy the everyday challenges and the fact that I have the privalige in being part of saving peoples lives.
Pros: That there is endless challenges daily and when the timing is right place for growth.
Cons: Working long hours without a choice.

Good Learning curve
Highly competitive environment (adapt or die), where you learn how to work differently mostly under pressure. The people here are easy to work with and make it almost feel like home. I have learnt hoe to effectively work in a team and to do duties that are beyond what is expected of me without neglecting my duties. I love to interact and learn for different people that I meet at work. For now the most challenging part of my work is the companies stock issues and trying to find ways to sell what we can produce (creating the right mix)
Pros: Opportunies for growth are quite minimal. You can push yourself to do and learn more, which might benefit you in the long run.

Eager to learn
I am currently an acting operator, I operate on different kinds of Ima machines where we manufacture tablets and capsules. I also attend to minor breakdown and my jobs includes alot of documentation. I have learnt alot in my current job,, how to lead a team and the importance of working in a team and asking for help if you need it. I learn something new everyday and that is the part i enjoy the most, I love challenges and having my own team which I lead has taught me alot.
Pros: Im am regularly going on training.

Great, challenging
You learn something new every day and experience in different levels. Learn different things but now need change to a new sector or department to explore the health, safety and environment . Interested in being involved in the auditing side of safety and learn new things

Excellent learning curve
The Company has a very fast environment, running of samples, maintain cleaniness, calibration of machines, assisting and doing research on complex procedures. I worked very well with my co-workers. Everyone is treated equally and with respect. We worked very long hours however the aim was to achieve aims and objectives of the company with that of the customer.

Computer litarate, Administrative skills and good packer
Aspen experience was my most exciting time i had. From the work duties to collegues it was just perfect. As a atock controller intern, i was assisting almost half company stuff, Aspen representatives and their managers. The most deficult thing was that one need to knw all those almost 300 representatives by names and keeping all Aspen products since its hat i was controlling. Another best thing was the work environment as it is, an inspiration by itself. I was friendly and submissive at all times which made me to have a good relationship with everyone that i was working with. Compilements with supervisors, senior members and managers was my daily motivation. Even got a certificate in Business administrator. I was mostly responsible for recieving, packing, labelling and destribution of Aspen promotional items.

Learning curve
Great exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Quality assurance experience and broad knowledge of gmp principles. Packing and manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms and small volume parenterals

I CURRENTLY STUDYING INSTALLATION RULES WHICH I WOULD OBTAIN WIRE MANS LICENCE.
I AM A ELECTRICIAN BY TRADE AND I WORK AS A PRODUCTION ARTISAN WHICH IS I DO BOTH ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL WORK. I DO DAILY MACHINE CHECKS BEFORE THE START OF THE SHIFT. I DO PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON ALL EQUIPMENT FOR BOTH ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL. I DO PROBLEM SOLVING (ROUT CAUSE ANALYSIS) I DO CONTINUES IMPROVEMENT I WORK WELL WITH PEOPLE I AM A TEAM PLAYER I ENJOY PROBLEM SOLVING AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT I CAN ADAPT TO ANY CHANGE MY MOST CHALLENGE ASPECT ON MY MY JOB IS TO LEAD PEOPLE.

Good company for growth and business understanding.
I have joined Aspen Pharmacare in Sep 2015, leading to my current position. I have gained a varied exposure and understanding about the business processes, as I have started to work in production then moved to the Quality Control department. Ultimately, I advanced my career growth by filling a vacancy in Quality Assurance, as a Compliance Auditor. In the most recent position in I was in, QC, my problem solving skills were enhanced to a high standard. I joined QA because, I wanted to have the holistic overview of running a manufacturing company. I did get the understanding, but it got too routine hence I feel that I am not leaving in my true capability. There is a varied number of opportunities within the plant, hence I am always keen to join extra mural tasks such Safety Health and Environment Rep, Employment Equity Committee and community involvement.
Pros: great opportunity for diversified growth
Cons: The current position is not target orientated, so I am not able to stetch my scope of contribution and innovation.

Typical Workday
A typical work day will start by reviewing incidents that might have occurred on the previous shift, that might have spilled over to the current shift and the impact it has on production going forward. Then reviewing the activities in production, which floors are active and the product. I work close with the production leaders and pharmacists and maintain a professional relationship with Operators.
