Excellent learning curve

It is good company thought it has lot of challenges in terms of target requirement due to economy. I have learned alot in working with different individual with different goal and aspect, what i enjoy the most is team work and team play

The journey of CARE collections

During my 4 year tenure at the bank as supervisor, i was very much involved in many activites, i was the one guy other supervisors went to for help. I made sure that there is a vibrant buzz in the call centre by setting up ringing alerts that rung in the call centre every time there were a lot of calls on hold. That would effectively get consultants moving and answer calls immediately. I always made sure that i came up with motivation programs. I have been unemployed since and am currently seeking new opportunities. I am a dedicated, hard / smart working and fast learning employee should you give my application any consideration. Excellent for new employees to banking industry

Attending to regulators request. Operational part of AML at life cycle of a customer. Managing the dynamic team with different experiences. The most challenging is providing expertise to the bank on AML

Pros: Great opportunity to go back to audit and compliance to do what i enjoy

I am hard woring person who likes to work in a team whos's passionate about his work.

It's very nice and friendly environment to work at African Bank my dai;y work include Review of loans and approval,making sure everyone in the branch folllow company policies and procedure at all times,opening and closing of the branch.I amalso 2ic at work, my relationship with coleagues is very good.I have learned a lot of things like writing assessment on fraud,anti money laundering,nca and product knowledge.What i enjoy most is my work and the most challenging aspects of my job was getting my FAIS Certificate (RE5).

Loving the vide

African bank is a great company to work for as they really do well in developing their staff mambers. There are a number of development opportunities like level NQF4 learnerships, CMD programs where people are stdying for BCom degrees, bursaries and study loans if one is studying what won't necessarily benefit the bank in the long run

Great personal development attained during my years of employment

I like working with people my subordinate and my customers. It is so much fulfilling to be able to interact and collaborate with my team everyday with one goal in mind to provide excellent customer service while living and upholding our company values. Performing our daily duties with integrity remind us all the time of how important it is to be Ethical in our our dealing with each other as well as with our customers. We therefore now and then celebrate our achievement from the customer satisfaction survey results. We proud ourselves with our culture of honesty and fairness that we demonstrate at all times.

Great institute to get experiance

It has been a great experience as i have seen the company go up and down the years and yet survive in the end . I have seen it transform from ordinery to what the company is today. Worked with good people who where will to help me learn and where honest and sincere with me. I got to learn how to behave as a professional individual

Love my job but not the rewards

I am worth much more and would like to work for a company that remunerates accordingly and offer excellent benefits! I love people and interacting with influential decision makers. I am very limited in this regard in my current job.

Pros: Realizing peoples dreams and aspirations by matching our products to their needs.
Cons: Remuneration and rewards system is not in line with those of our direct competitors.

Excellent place for grooming young people.

I am fast learner, a hard worker, with good planing skills and I am good at making decisions which the company will still benefit out of it. And I am always open for ideas. And and I still love my current job, my colleagues and the its has a good working environment. However I need something new now and challenging.

Pros: its has great opporrunities
Cons: I work 4hr 30min during the week.then weekends its 12hr 45 min. both saturday and sunday combined
