Enjoy working with other people

I have a high interest in using engineering software to solve complex engineering problems and bring to visual my thoughts and solutions. Using the pieces and bits of information acquired through my years of studying to solve problems gives meaning to my life. Minerals processing and pyrometallurgy are one of the most important disciplines that I think runs the mining industry. Some of my interests include hydrometallurgy, research on equipment and improvement of their perfomance, aerodynamics, optimization of processes and finding new solutions. I learn and enjoy working with other people both on field (industrial hands on) and off-field (boardroom/ office work), my passion for projects and research always pushed me to work hard and keep track of time to meet deadline

Pros: great learning enviroment
Cons: less work

Part time student job

Marking of all relevant tests, sick tests, exams and sick exams for all third year subjects according to specific lecturers' preference. Markers. Also inform lecturers of ambiguous questions and memo errors as deducted from student answers. We are responsible for all received question papers for marking, storing and handing in all question papers in a punctual, accurate and neat fashion. Course coordinators, marking coordinators and Co-workers work well together. I learnt punctuality, prioritising and accurate marking under pressure. My joys were obtained from the great teamwork and positive working environment generated from the markers.

Pros: A sense of responsibility towards lecturers and students alike
Cons: Part time student job

Learning experience

During my post-graduate studies over the past four, I assisted in various other research projects with data collection across several fields (ecophysiology to landscape ecology). My PhD work involved various components analysed in R-software and ArcGis assessing the impact of climate change on the threatened Red lark. In 2018, I was privileged enough to be allowed to work on the Specialist Avifaunal Impact Assessment component, which was part of the Wildealskloof Mixed-Use Development in Bloemfontein. I gained valuable first time experience in conducting such an assessment allowing me to learn from skilled co-workers. I’m willing to go out of my way to learn additional skills and attend training courses that are required to join your company. I am grateful for your evaluation of my credentials and subsequent response.

Pros: Learn valuable skills during my post gradute degress
Cons: Struggle to get experience in EIA

My relationship with my co-workers its very good in such way I even forget that their are my co-workers because of the bond and support we give each other ,we are actually one big family. What I have learnt in this department its working together and respecting each other and also helping each other in order to achieve one goal at the end of the day. personally I enjoy being in the tagging team because thats where i go to offices to help custodians with tagging their Assets. In what I do ,I dont find anything being challenging because I enjoy each an everything I do with my job.
